Really like this geddon deck, super awesome. Upon seeing it, I immediately tried to port it to other old school formats, and did some scryfall searchs to find goodies, and goodies I found. Some may be good or not depending on how you build the exact list. Suggestions: Floral Spuzzem - The plan is to geddon them, having this guy killing their artifacts over and over can be strong. Tracker - Similar role to Triskellion, but cheaper cost. Not an replacement, more like an extra buddy for Trisk. Jasmine Boreal - Similar to Ernham Djinn, the big plus is that it dodges your own cities in a bottle. Argivian Archaeologist - You've plenty artifacts and triskellions, with minimal tweaks to your idea it can be a strong side or main option. Skull of Orm - You're running 8 enchants maindeck just by accident. If you build around it a bit with some sideboard bullets like circles of protection, or even animate dead or whatever, it starts to look like an very appealing card that you can bring out of the sideboard to fight those disenchants. Awesome deck, loved this one :D
Thanks for clearing that up Koendert. So there’s no way to first play armageddon and wait for a possible counterspell? What I meant is, play armageddon, no counterspell, sac forests with the armageddon effect on the stack. That works, right? 🤔
@@TimmytheSorcerer , yes you have to just sack the lands up front, or if you expect a counterspell you can consider skipping the sacking. Usually you don’t need too many extra lives against decks with counterspells, so it’s possible to play around to some extent.
I think it's similar to fork. If you cast a spell and pass priority and there is no response, then you can't fork your own spell. You have to cast a spell, "hold priority," and then cast fork. So with forking your own spell there is risk of a 2 for 1 if the original spell gets countered.
Maaaaaaan, I want one of those Spanish misprint angels so bad. I love the variance in decks with such a small card pool in Old School. Sure, you see the same _cards_ over and over, but the decks are always different. That WinterGeddon deck looks like a lot of fun. X-Points seems like a great format.
This is my deck, I will make a deck tech about it on my youtube channel. You are spot on about the Terrors and I also destroyed some people with amnesia. I took an awful 6 land hand in g1
@@TimmytheSorcerer , I need to get that roof window covered to get rid of that awful glare…the camera is quite new, so the low resolution is maybe because of bandwith or something else. Also I’ll avoid putting the playmat upside down too😉
Not in the modern rules with 6th edition. Only howling mine and winter orb can be tapped to deactivate. Tapping other artifacts does not deactivate them.
its really hard to see how many cards are being drawn every turn with sylvan. in a finals and with glare and low res camera id personally draw to the top of my playmat so there's absolutely no confusion.
It’s def far from ideal, but I personally never worry about people cheating. We’re all adults and do this for fun. If you want to cheat its super easy online 🤷♂️ That being said, it would be great if more players would have okay cams and set-up, especially when recording a match. Ah well, one can dream :) Luckily, in person magic is possible again 🥳 I’ve got a great tournament coming up next week 🤟

If you pass priority after you played your armageddon the spell will resolve and you can not react upon that any more by saccing your forest

@@TimmytheSorcerer No, that doesn't work, once your opponent chooses not to counter you don't get priority back, the spell resolves.
I guess it’s taking the risk then 🤟 #yolo

Thnx for replying, always valuable to have the players themselves comment as well 👍
Oh, hey, I stumbled across your channel the other day and I really liked it.
@@Firevine Thanks and glad you enjoy it
Great matchup!
Nice upload Timmy, you’re the man😉
Thnx David, really nice to see your deck doing its thing 💃

Can meekstone also be tapped to be deactivated?
