Bluebell 30 I completely agree with you. The judges scored a less than perfect French team over V/M on the short dance (twizzels out of sync). They won by the narrowest of margins. In the end, thank goodness the greatest of all time ice dancers prevailed over the corrupt judging system. They deserved to win because their programs were impeccable.
Thanks for uploading. Seeing Tessa and Scott's Gold medal skate from a variety of vantages now, it is clear that they fully deserved to be Olympic Champions. Every twizzle, every turn was in perfect sync- especially late in the program when their muscles are on fire. And they skated with PASSION...
If their so called "friendship", is indeed not a passionate love affair for each other,then all current Academy Award nominees will be voided. If their love is just an act then Tessa and Scott both deserve the Academy Award for best actor and actress....

I absolutely loved that Scott was singing, but Tessa was singing some parts too which is shocking and not shocking at the same time. She hates Karaoke but she will sing in the car with Scott at the top of her lungs

I never tire of watching this program. VM are the GOATs in figure skating. Their skating is impeccable - technicality, musicality, artistry, they do the most difficult steps, speed, lifts and moves. And they put so much emotion & passion into it. They make it all flow effortlessly on ice. Of course there is always the palpable chemistry. It just feels like there is so much personal & raw emotion in it. BTW, I read PC (French team) claimed Canada paid North Koreans to sit in the audience to cheer for VM. I still can’t believe VM won by less than one point over PC. The corruption in ISU never ceases to amaze me.
No plaint from the french. Where did you have this information ? They had the same coaches that their co-trainers VM and no french federation to support them. You just can see that the canadian judge was the president of the canadian federation. It's not ethical but everybody was happy of this in Canada. VM won because they were the best but nobody have to vomit on the such classy PC who always accepted laws of sport with fair play.

This was brilliant, I was mesmerised from start to finish and even then I didn’t want it to end. Technically and artistically I always thought Torvill and Dean were the best in their day, they raised the bar of ice dancing to a whole new level, and this couple well, they just blew me away and raised it even higher. In regards to being a couple, I have skated and danced, I know about partnerships, interaction when performing and not. This couple have something special together which transmits into their skating which is very passionate. Scott’s emotion at the end of the programme, it was as if, he almost wanted to eat her up, smothering her in his embrace and never wanting to let her go. I know it was their last competitive skate, but I think it was far more emotive than that. If they are not an item off the ice, then they are both missing out, because it’s obvious to a blind man they should be. As for their ice dancing brilliance, I am truly lost for words, which for me is a rarity, other than it was a privilege to watch such perfection on the ice, they so deserved GOLD.

Thank you so much for sharing, it is the 1st time ever I watch this video, and trust me I must have seen each one that was shared on the social media, not once but so manyyyyyyy times, and it shows all the movements and choreography from the other side of the ringue allowing to see some expressions and smiles between Tessa and Scott that I wasn’t able to get in other videos. Almost 2 years after such a magical performance and I still get goosebumps 🙀. Dear Lord I miss them so much🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺 By the way, they should also have win the FD... mesmerizing to say the least, both in technical expertise but also the passion and the pleasure they were able to present to the world and by living and enjoying it themselves ... not a job always a pleasure👏👏👏👏👏 💃🏻Tessa and 🕺🏻Scott will be forever and ever the queen and king of ice dancing. 지유박 Very true. The judges couldn’t hide the poor judging from the rank and file people who could clearly see with their own eyes who the far and away best skaters were.
I could watch it for hours... their padsion, commitment and interpretation is unbelievable... I have goosebumps. And still cannot believe that the judges preferred P/C free program to this... No way the French team was better than the Canadians. Moulin rouge is such a difficult and intricate program, so nuanced, with change of music and they didn't miss a bit. Moonlight Sonata? Easier to skate. Don't get me wrong, I did enjoy the French team program, I find it beautiful and lirical but it has been overscored.

If that is the case, then isn’t that beautiful? Tessa is competitive, and a bit of a perfectionist so she may have been nervous and Scott caught on, and it’s beautiful that Scott is thinking more about Tessa than the fact that they are competing lol.
They always say they care more about each-other than about themselves and that really is so sweet and beautiful. They have such a unique relationship, which they'll hopefully foster and maintain after retiring. At this point, they probably trust each-other more than any-one else, so I hope that will never change for them.
Does anyone else here think that for Scott at least, the "act" (since they say that the "smoldering glances" and appearance of being madly in love that they display so convincingly on ice is "just an act") is when he says he's NOT in love with Tessa? That when he's on ice with her and gets to "pretend" he's in love with her to act out the character role, that's the only time he can look at her and touch her the way he really wants to?
Looking at this video once again, I feel sad because they are not meant for each other. Well, they have their own lives but as a fan I want them to be a couple but it will not happen because what they feel or they can give for each other is friendship. if any body really wants to know about tessa and scott ,watch their show TESSA AND SCOTT..you will get it..they shot it in 2014..scott had a girlfriend then...cassandra..now he is single though or maybe planning to marry tessa..if you watch it you will see how close they are ...they are like soulmates...but this chemistry they have today is a fruit of their hardwork...their relationship is unexplainable ...hard to understand..they themselves don't get it..scott feels jealous when other boys ask her out...and he knows that his relationship with his girlfriend (9 months girlfriend) is complex too as he is always with tessa..but personally i think they should get married..if they choose different persons in life it would be really hard for others to fit in it..a square peg in a round hole..there would be problems..i got to know this all from their show
I agree, she looked like a watered down Tessa. Also everyone in that miniseries was so awkward on camera, it actually occurred to me that Cassandra was just an actress hired to play the role of Scott's girlfriend.
Did Scott say he feels jealous when other guys ask Tessa out in the reality show miniseries? I don't remember that coming up... although I can totally see it.
About him singing "to her" etc. Probably in a way, partly, - even if not a full romantic relationship. (I actually believe what they themselves say, even if confused for a while). BUT aslo - that's just how art / artistery works for some! The singing's probably often partly emotional engagement in the music and the role, and partly joy of the moment and of scating with her. I've practiced some other artistic stuff and maybe people overinterprete. Their relationship's deep and they DRAW from that, like they've said. That's different. Here, the "come what may" could partly be about their friendship.
NBC should b more professional and upload the videos of the winners like virtue/Moir and Yuzuru but well...🤷♀️🤷♀️ they were so obsessed with the idea of Nathan Chen and the Shibutanis winning gold. (Like... really nbc??) we get u need 2 support your athletes but not to the extent of trying 2 make the world believe they had a chance against such titans in figure skating 😒.
Maria Lopez The Shibutanis got little coverage compared to other athletes (even other American ice dancers; they were strangely fixated on Hubbell/Donohue for a little bit there?), but yeah, overall it’s just a little tiring that all NBC is SOLELY on American athletes. Every time they talked about the men’s skaters, they would find a way to loop it back to Nathan Chen (“yeah so the Japanese won first and second... but back to Nathan Chen!”) which I feel like is an unfair amount of pressure to out on a kid. Plus, I want to see other videos of the winners!
And we saw the result of all that pressure, the poor kid had very disappointing skates in both the Team event and the individual (in the short programs especially)

if any body really wants to know about tessa and scott ,watch their show TESSA AND SCOTT..you will get it..they shot it in 2014..scott had a girlfriend then...cassandra..now he is single though or maybe planning to marry tessa..if you watch it you will see how close they are ...they are like soulmates...but this chemistry they have today is a fruit of their hardwork...their relationship is unexplainable ...hard to understand..they themselves don't get it..scott feels jealous when other boys ask her out...and he knows that his relationship with his girlfriend (9 months girlfriend) is complex too as he is always with tessa..but personally i think they should get married..if they choose different persons in life it would be really hard for others to fit in it..a square peg in a round hole..there would be problems..i got to know this all from their show

I agree, she looked like a watered down Tessa. Also everyone in that miniseries was so awkward on camera, it actually occurred to me that Cassandra was just an actress hired to play the role of Scott's girlfriend.

About him singing "to her" etc. Probably in a way, partly, - even if not a full romantic relationship. (I actually believe what they themselves say, even if confused for a while). BUT aslo - that's just how art / artistery works for some! The singing's probably often partly emotional engagement in the music and the role, and partly joy of the moment and of scating with her. I've practiced some other artistic stuff and maybe people overinterprete. Their relationship's deep and they DRAW from that, like they've said. That's different. Here, the "come what may" could partly be about their friendship.

NBC should b more professional and upload the videos of the winners like virtue/Moir and Yuzuru but well...🤷♀️🤷♀️ they were so obsessed with the idea of Nathan Chen and the Shibutanis winning gold. (Like... really nbc??) we get u need 2 support your athletes but not to the extent of trying 2 make the world believe they had a chance against such titans in figure skating 😒.
Maria Lopez The Shibutanis got little coverage compared to other athletes (even other American ice dancers; they were strangely fixated on Hubbell/Donohue for a little bit there?), but yeah, overall it’s just a little tiring that all NBC is SOLELY on American athletes. Every time they talked about the men’s skaters, they would find a way to loop it back to Nathan Chen (“yeah so the Japanese won first and second... but back to Nathan Chen!”) which I feel like is an unfair amount of pressure to out on a kid. Plus, I want to see other videos of the winners!
And we saw the result of all that pressure, the poor kid had very disappointing skates in both the Team event and the individual (in the short programs especially)
