RULES:
The rules are the same as regular uno except for these changes.
The object of the game is to be the first player to score 500 points by get rid of all the tiles in their rack first. Mix up the tiles facedown and give each player a tile rack. Each player draws 5 tiles and adds them to their rack, keeping them hidden from others. Place the game unit in the center of the table and turn it off. Wind the knob clockwise as far as it will go. Press the purple playboard down until it catches. Draw a tile from the pile and place it faceup on the first space of the board. If this tile is not a number tile, return it to the pile and try again. Then turn the game unit on.
Pick a player to go first, then play proceeds clockwise. On your turn, you must play a legal tile from your rack to the next place in the board, following the arrows, like you would in normal uno. After you play your tile, you must say “madness” to indicate your turn is over. If you are unable to make a legal play, then you draw 1 tile from the pile. If that tile can be played then you may play it, otherwise your turn ends.
When you play your 2nd to last tile you must say “uno”. If you don’t, and someone catches you before the next player ends their turn, then you must draw 2 penalty tiles. A player’s turn officially begins when the preceding player says “madness” or “uno”. If the playboard pops up on your turn, then you must take 4 tiles from the playboard and add them to your rack. Any remaining tiles are placed facedown in the pile. The player who the game popped up on resets the timer and board and draws the starting tile. The timer starts and the next player from them goes.
The special action tiles behave the same as in regular uno. You are not allowed to make suggestions as to how another player should play. If you do, then you must draw 4 penalty tiles. The round ends when a player runs out of tiles in their rack or when the played tiles reach the center of the board. In both instances the player to make the final play scores the point of the remaining tiles in other players’ racks.
the idea of saying "madness" to end your turn is funny

I had one of these as a kid!! This was so much fun! I remember begging my little bro to play me one round before we go to classes in the morning.
Yoooo, this sounds really awesome and fun! I love Uno and The Uno Company that also made Uno Stacko plus some others (like this one that you uploaded recently that also had those nice little plastic Uno cards. The bomb-like timer mechanic and the "swirly-square" aesthetic is a nice touch. I mean bro, the fact that it pops up and the "swirl" starts again with someone having to draw (by getting to pick at least) 4 cards and it continuing; with the points at the end for cards had left over when someone reaches the end, meaning that you don't necessarily want to complete the board unless you have the least amount of card value. Heck, you could even wait on purpose before calling out "Uno" until there is a tiny amount of time left so that the other player gets trolled.
UNO mixed with the game Perfection (or Superfection).
JJS players: :000
I love the idea how you get penalties from giving other players suggestions, it's just perfect
These UNO tiles are similar to Mahjong's
Mahjone
I think they are more like scrabble tiles
Or maybe Rummikub
d. All of the above
me watching these videos when i dont have the game:
interesting
It was indeed great fun! Best part is it’s not battery powered so didn’t have to worry about changing battery!
this is like perfection plus uno
Triple S Games really enjoys UNO and chess.
You could play this with regular Uno cards as well! You'd just need a bigger space and a timer with an alarm set to maybe 60 or 90 seconds.
how would you do the popping tho
This looks fun. They still make these ?
yea go to the link
NVM they discontinued
This is an ooooollld game. The one I had as a kid has been broken a long time ago and we had to toss it unfortunately.
I really don’t understand the purpose of the board here. Wouldn’t a timer accomplish the same purpose?
The purpose of the board, is to have a limited number of tile play before the game automatically ends.
I'm guessing this is a way to increase the game pace, as now there is stakes to go faster, both in losing and winning.
@@hamizannaruto If you play the second to last tile, you lose (unless no one can play for a full rotation). Meaning that you are encouraged to not play the second to last, and as a consequence, not play the last one
@@theod4660 Uno is a not a great game in the first place, but it was not meant to be competitive anyway, just for fun. If you thinking to win, then I suggest a more strategic approach game rather than Uno.
1. Playing second two last is not an automatic lost. The player could just, not have the piece require for it.
2. if you are afraid that the other player have the piece, than you are allow to lose on purpose, and take the penalty.
Especially true when there is 2 or 3 player in the game, where there is a likely chance they don't have the piece require.. It's a risk Vs reward kind of situation.
Other than that, there is another rule you can add if you want to add more strategy. Same number allow combos, and add multiple tiles.
Is this a great design game. No they are not, but that has been Uno since the beginning.
This looks fun😮.
Uno perfection I guess?
What happens when the tiles in the center run out?
Respect!
Is there any reason for the board being overcomplicated like this? It would be cool if we can match tiles to another tiles arounds it even over the fence
you can change the rules
He didn’t show the original sound of the game, otherwise you’d understand how little time you have (2-ish minutes, if I remember right) and how much stress it puts on you (at least as a kid).
It’s basically an incredibly loud and obnoxious egg timer, and the “tikitikitikitki” noise gets faster and more high pitched near the end. It certainly forced me to play fast and make a lot of mistakes, which was the whole point.
How is it complicated? It's just a spiral.
How much is one?
Ahhhhh new uno😢
