I’ve been thinking recently that my favorite makers on TH-cam are women, in large part because of you two, and I’ve been trying to figure out why. And I think it’s because of stuff like this. As a guy I appreciate the male makers, but I find myself in similar trains of thought as them. With both of you however, there’s just a way of seeing the world that I’ll never quite tap into in the same way and that I find super valuable. Thanks for broadening my perspective.

I am a mechanic and I want one... Tampons are hands down the best way to plug a fitting when the attached hose is removed. Bingo no leaks or loss of fluid. Keep laughing it freaking works.

There's actually an old story about tampons being developed during the first world war for doctors, nurses, and medics to use to plug bullet wounds, and nurses *supposedly* used them when they were on their periods because they worked so well for bullet holes.

Can I just say, women are amazing and never get the credit they deserve. The creativity, humour, positivity, resilience, and strength I see in these two honestly makes me envious. But it also makes me proud. I have a mother and a sister and I think they are so strong and inspiring. And these two women are doing the same for so many people. I really hope I haven’t expressed that in a patronising way because I mean it completely as a genuine compliment

In Germany, the vast majority of women uses this type, and I'm pretty sure it's the same in most other European Countries.
In Australia our supermarkets and pharmacies don't even stock tampons with applicators. Our finger is the applicator 😂

In an airsoft gun magazine there is a small lever with which you can pull the spring (foam) down. That way, the magazine can easily be loaded.
If this is a serious contraption that is actually used, I would really recommend using this.

Future reference: repurpose metal straps (bands used to hold pallets or bundles of metal for shipping) for leaf springs. Good for prototyping in light application. They are a mild steel that is very springy.
Way late to the party, but it would be so cool to see the tampon dispenser painted up in those kidified primary colors like Pez uses, & maybe rename it 'PON? & have a pair of oink or blue cords/strings hanging of the crowing tampon Laura made? & maybe give it a little happy face?
