These are all simple but they are not easy to do.

This part of the episode BROKE me. At the time, I thought he was just too senile to comprehend it, or too used to death that he just didn't care (so kinda spot on with the second one)
I never underestimated this old dude when I first watched this. I thought he was sadistic for smiling because in this game so many people were getting shot and dying around him. So from the get go I thought he was strange for that. At most I'd thought he would end up betraying Gi-hun like how Sang-Woo did to Ali. I wasn't expecting him being the whole master mind behind the games.
I watched this scene and knew he was behind it so I skipped to the end to confirm. But I see now how others are confused, especially since he clicked X on the game button.
@MS KUMAR cause he seemed too happy about everyone dying and he was the one to run ahead. Even if he was dying it didn’t feel like a natural reaction..which we find out earlier more people in the games are terminally ill and no one reacted like him lol

obviously beside the obvious reason old man isn't afraid, but it is actually very smart because this was the first game so everyone was still f shocked and freeze there in fear/surprises. to have him start playing and walking, it will help the player start the game as well. if there is no old man , likely many will freeze there not knowing what to do until it is too late.
