I think the zombie in extreme is tougher so more damage could kill em easier
yes the extra burn dmg helps killing bull faster in extreme, they have a lot more hp than in Insane

Only a Hellraiser can one shot a bull with the Thumper and the perk. It's a beast class. One of my favs for dealing crazy damage.
