It's exciting, isn't it. I have gotten hearts from my comments and I'm dying to know if Nile sees them. Want him to know just how much joy he's brought me over all these years. Have a great day!

Sad enough the 1979 Disco Backlash had some serious racial aspects in! All of it inflamed by Dahl. (the ex DJ). It is a shame that the gouvernement let this happen! Music has it area's. And they come an they go in a more ore less 'natural way' regulated by the wishes of the listening audience. But hey, killing the Disco because it was the music of the blacks, the hispanics, an de gay community....THAT is MANY MANY bridges to far !!!!!! And in an instance it was eradicated by angry withe people without SOUL! I enjoyed the colorful extravaganza of Disco brought by top bands and musicians mixed with Soul, Jazz, Funk, Rock!!! But Disco survived in the end and I'll hope the DISCO will come back in all its old glory!

Yep, so annoying. I try and create jazz, funk and disco / HI-NRG. It’s the good stuff

Dude you hit the mark with your post. White people of the 70s hated disco because it was from black people. What we have today is the blossoming of hate from the 70s. But it will die out because new people don't see it that way.
Disco needs to come back. Its truely a Black American culture. I wish guys like Nile Rogers, KC, Commidores and old school groups would reinvigorate the music of today..
