@@WilliamMurfitt It has for both of us mate, mine not to your degree though. I've got a team meeting at work tomorrow which will be the crunch for me so I'm metaphorically holding my breath til then lol.
You’re getting there Will the end is in sight who’d have thought there would have been so much to do. I wasn’t keen on the blue engine, the blacks not really working for me either I painted red and it really stands out when you open the Bonnet. Just a pity I can’t get it running at the moment🙁 Take Care Stay Safe Everyone Regards Dave 👍😎🏴
It's coming along nicely. By the way what mini was it originally, you may have already told us but i missed the episode. It's obviously quite a new car because everywhere is so different from the early cars. I especially noticed the panel at the top of the grill where the bonnet fits onto, it's now flat on the top.
I’m doing a 1989 mk1 Mayfair at the moment lol attempting to upgrade the loom and relocating fuse box to inside the car.. probably fusing the 12v coming in from engine bay that provides my new fuse box power incase of firewall issues etc or I could pull from battery and feed under rear seat fuse box and re run wires down drivers side roof have not decided yet..
It's been agreed that luke has only paid for parts on this project. Garage prices though you would be looking around the £8-10k based on hourly rates etc for all of the work carried out
Looking good 😎👍🏽
Thank you
great episode will - I had to re wind and listen again when you said you had to bleed the horn :) :)
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 its a tried and tested method
Black always suits an engone IMO, shame about the blue though. Hope things are improving for you personally and the family are all safe and well.
Thanks, Im keeping my head up its been an odd few weeks / months

Thank you mate, its been a slog but the car is nearly complete
Coming along nicely is the blue a different shade maybe it's just the camera keep up the good work 😉 👍
Unfortunately it is a slightly different finish, when the paint was mixed i gave the exact paint code im hoping it settles as it cures
Enjoyed the vid as always 👍👍👍👍

That was the plan with the blue as it had a glittering finish which i though had the wow factor.
Oh no whats wrong with your car?
Nearly there keep up the good work.
Thank you
No to black sills hehe!!! 😭
I think the engine should be black/silver as that blue does not match the bodywork.
Hope you're well well done 👏
Cheers mate, i really liked the blue i thought it looked great as it was something a little different

That sounds like a great idea. I think having the fuses inside the car is always a better idea
Hope you’re not charging him by the hour😬 . Just interested, what would a full makeover and sorting like this run to ?

Pity you had to repaint looks good now though mate
Yeah it was a shame... but its better now than it would be if id have left the finish as it was
