I really like the tempo in which he plays this wonderful piece. It is one of my favourites to play and it is so helpful to hear such a professional playing Lange's Flower Song.
Sir, firstly, very many thanks for this. Secondly, all the seats in the auditorium should be full and thirdly, I would like to explain that my German mother used to play this often when I was a very young child in the 50s and I have not heard the full version for decades. I was thrilled to find it and so thank you do much again for this beautifully played piece. With best wishes to you, a Happy New Year and kind regards Jutta (now living in London England)
This brings back nostalgic memories for me as my mother played this piece in the 1950s and 1960s but she could only play the main theme from memory. I think she found the passionate middle section more of a challenge. Thank you for the memory and for the lovely tone quality.
I'm considering to start playing this piece, but I'm not sure if it's maybe too difficult for me. Compared to Chopin's Nocturne Op.9 No.2 or Debussy's Clair the Lune, is this more difficult or even easier?
@@carlo.b In my opinion Clair de Lune is harder then Blumenlied, since I've played it before. About Nocturne's Op. 9 No 2 I think it's a little easier. I think you can do all of them though. You just need to practice more for Clair de Lune.
This is definitely NOT too low. I just have heard it played much lower. Congratulations for your excellent performance! Kidnest regards from Switzerland, Meggy
Every once in a while, my father played the main theme of this "Blumenlied". Unfortunately, he used to depress the sustain pedal with a zeal that would have befitted a race car driver on the straight track, but which reduced the music to a reverberating wall of sound.
I'm stuck at the part that starts right at 2:20. Goes to key of Bb major. The beginning up until 2:20 is only in F major. Just kind of confuses my brain.
123peeonyou, you mean that part near the end of the II. Mov? The rest of the piece is unique. I have heard no other piece like it, especially in terms of technique
I wish my wife could have heard this beautiful melody when she was alive. She was an avid flower lover. We had flowers all around our house.
Manivald Harm Although im two months late, i just wanted to say that im sorry for your loss, you really touched me with simply a few words
Manivald Harm awww I’m sure she would have loved this too -just remember she is always with you in your heart
Manivald Harm I'm sorry for Your lost (crying)
I can't help with my tears because I saw your comment on 2:18 of this video...
@@jins679 wtf is your problem
My grandmother used to play this on her Steinway. I’ve got the sheet music framed with her signature on it.
this is so perfect. the most perfect Blumenlied playing that I've ever heard. the rhythm, tempo, all is perfect. thanks for the vid..

All these people judging it's too slow and I just wish could play like him. I think it's perfect.
It is perfect! I don’t like all those versions on TH-cam which are in a quicker pace!
He's doing it perfectly. You know, doing this tempo perfectly isn't easy.

Concuerdo 👍🏻

For me his interpretation of this piece is the best. l love it.
Just reminds me of some nostalgic memories....used try to play this and listen to it all the time...
Clear like water... definetly best performance ever... congratulations!

This is one of the most relaxing pieces ever. I listened to this and then slept like a baby haha
Hands down best performance out there... all accents present, sweet lilt of 6/8 ftw. Faster does not mean better.
I absolutely adore this piece! Blumenlied 😍
Aah~ Im playing this on piano right now. But i -really- don't think that i am going to make it THIS perfect. This is just so good..

Love this song so much ^^

It was a great performance. Thank you.
Lovely interpretation.
Superb performance... the man has the gift...

A tender feeling in me
I've heard this melody as a background for many silent movies and in cartoons, but I never knew what it was.
Very nice performance of this cornball tune, which accompanied many sentimental moments in old cartoons!
Just beautiful!
BEAUTIFUL.
how you feel knowing that you can play perfectly like this?
Wow! Marvelous... How accurate he always plays... He's a Japanese Horowitz.
If ever there a song that depicted the emotions when in love….this would be it !!!!
Beautiful piece....love it so much! TQ, I play it again and again
Thank you for playing all of the repeats and everything. Why Does everyone on TH-cam skip those, and ignore the diacritics?
Fantastic played friend 🎹
This song is fun to play
I like the demisemiquaver that gives that part the lop sided feeling
I love it.
Muito linda ! Fantástica
Beautiful👏👍
My own TH-cam Video of this composition is inspired by your interpretation. Thank you!
nice song ---flower song...my fav piano piece when young
perfect.

❤️
i love you all.
TE MOOI VOOR WOORDEN.
Blummenlied. Nie wiem czy wspominałem.

Where's the audience?
well its called classical for a reason...
Clearly influenced by Beethoven's pathetique 2nd movement.
123peeonyou, you mean that part near the end of the II. Mov? The rest of the piece is unique. I have heard no other piece like it, especially in terms of technique
Wow! You played very well! Right now I am learning this song but I wanted to know: What level is this song? Right now I am level 8.
