  • In this video we explore an old house that was built in 1851. Dead center in a new development, it's slated to be razed sometime early 2023. A beautiful old house with unique amenities and what looks to be a great locations, it's quite sad to see this one go. Steve got the permission to explore the house and detect the yard. We spent a Saturday doing so, the tour of the inside being the high point.
Hopefully the footage of this house will live on here on TH-cam!
Disclaimer: As I just mentioned, the tour is the interesting part of the episode. The yard was heavily disturbed and there was really nothing relevant or old found metal detecting. Yah, we were stoked to hit this one and surprised with the results.
Also, somehow my stabilization got turned off on my phone, I used the stabilizer in my editing software and it distorted the video.

Thank you so much for showing this old place of history. I was wondering at 8:24 this old gismo was, the Kellogg or other brands of crank phones was located at that time?. The hard thought of find history you have shared to this world of history from the ground up while money can see it in another way. Thanks for your time of sharing...

Definitely sad they are tearing down that place. Almost looks like it may have been an old church house that was redone into a house. That gizmo looks like a church sign in board.

I think there were 2 additions to the original house. The part with the sign-in shelf and the part with the spiral staircase were added later on. The middle section was def the oldest.
