That’s very well stated. I wear the 2002R way more and I think it’s the reason you’re stating. I have 2 pair of 1906 but the 2002r is a staple in my wardrobe.

1906 comes with ortholite insole and i wish the 2002r did as well but mine didn’t. Ortholite insoles have better step in comfort

The 1906 upper feels softer on feet. Probably .05 % more comfortable than 2002… both are good for all day wear
