Seeing game used pieces is an underrated part of hockey cards. So many other sports rely almost entirely on photoshoots or even worse, the dreaded "the enclosed authentic memorabilia is not from any specific game or event" in high-end sets.
Bought these boxes a couple months back when Dave and Adams had them in store for $54.99 on sale and in one of the two boxes I pulled an autofacts of Connor McDavid. 1:57000+ packs!! Pull of a lifetime!!
Picked up one of these the other day at my shop for 65, got shelled with a few basic jerseys and an aurum card but it’s way easier when the rip is that cheap!
Its crazy how cheap are boxes in America and Canada compared to my country (Czech Republic). One box of artifacts 21/22 you can get here for like 160 american dollars. And its the same with every other series. Always 2,3 even 4 times more expensive here, and since our salaries are also mostly lower then in US, its crazy. It must be amazing to be hockey card collector in US or Canada :D
So in a typical year for Artifacts, they release them at the start of the year and include "rookie redemptions" for rookies to be named later, after the product is printed. For example, for 2023-24 Artifacts, it was released in December 2023 and Connor Bedard was a redemption rookie for the Chicago Blackhawks.
the Aurum cards have a much better look in the 22-23 and 23-24 then in years past. its funny how some people hate on the threads of time and net gear cards but it is still a Jersey card which are in few products now. ps this is my favorite product even with the high numbered parallels.

I just wish they’d tell you what season or better yet what game(s). They could do it, they just choose not to.

I pulled an aurum Mcdavid Auto!
Artifact remnants literally sounds like they were cleaning out the warehouse and found a few random jerseys lying around to make some cards with

My favorite product... I still have like 3 cases worth of hits

Love Artifacts. Have to get Hobby so you don't get mad base cards, pero love the cards
Zeeree, where do you buy your cards
Probably Dave and Adam’s or steel city collectibles or maybe a local hobby shop
Blowout Cards had a massive sale last year on 16-17 Series 1 retail mega boxes. It was the topic of one of his videos. They don't anymore though :(

i remember when artifacts used to be awesome 10-15 years ago
Why are non autos redemptions?

@abg7750 thanks abg! that makes sense
I’ve got a number of boxes of this at $70US per and it’s a lot of fun. Got a Caufield dual jersey in one of them which at least paid for that box.
Still going for $135CDN. Aren’t all the redemptions expired now in this set?
Cool break!

These boxes are brutal. Articrap, not worth the $80, better boxes can be had for that
More game used pieces than SP game used
