Thank you so much my teacher refused to go over this with me an youve helped me so much ive never been able to understand this chapter but now i do thank you so much
+Kieran Clohessy haven't forgot about you. I'm not sure i'll be able to do one on such a broad topic just now. If you can give me a more specific topic, I may be able to help. Are you looking for something on compound interest, income tax or profit and percentages? Here is a fairly good video on exchange rates if that's what you're looking for..... th-cam.com/video/9pTHSNNsQDQ/w-d-xo.html
At 9:20 the slopes are wrong. The line where it is, according to you a slope of 4/1 should be negative 4/1 and the line where you say it’s negative 1/4 should be a positive 1/4.
Thanks Michael, you're right. I've added a correction card to the video at that point. Central idea is still true though, that the product of the slopes = -1 for perpendicular lines.
Danswers Junior Cert Maths Solutions the slope of line X that is perpendicular to line Y is just the slope of Y flipped and change signs. That’s what I was taught anyway without all the workings out. Wish me luck, I have JC maths 2 mock today
You’re miles better at teaching than my maths teacher. You make everything much more straightforward. Thanks! This really helped.

Thank you for this! My maths teacher didn't teach me half of this stuff in class
0:01 positive and negative slopes
0:26 which formula to use (equation of the line)
1:47 find equation the line with *y = mx + c* if there is a diagram
3:01 find the equation of the line with
*y - y, = m (x - x,)* if there is no diagram
5:40 graphing lines
7:07 get the equation of lines parallel to axii
7:54 find the axis of symmetry of a quadratic function
8:14 parallel lines are always equal
8:54 prove that these 2 lines are perpendicular to each other
10:31 finding the y and x intercept
12:24 finding the point of intersection between 2 lines
13:20 is this point on the line?
Thanks for this. Great to see some Irish based videos when there are so many American ones out there. They are all great ways to revise.
this is so much easier to understand thank you so much.
thank you, very straight to the point and easy to wrap my head around!!
I have my mocks tomorrow so this is very helpful, Thank you!
Ya same
what happened
Thank you so much I was so confused on this topic and if actually helped me so much
Thank you so much my teacher refused to go over this with me an youve helped me so much ive never been able to understand this chapter but now i do thank you so much

hope your ready 😮
Thankyou very much for this video, very helpful video,, really
Thanks, have my mocks in a couple weeks and this helped 👌
Hope you did well
Watching this at 11:30 the night before my test this better get me a pass
Did ya pass
Shannon O'Sullivan I got 42% 😂
@@PaddyGun U Just about passed 😂
Ben T proceeded to get 8% in a surprise retest
@@PaddyGun wow u can work hard! fighting!
I’m sure I was taught all this but i remembered fuck nothing so thanks for helping me pass a test as I study at 2am
Thanks so much. helped a lot 🙂
He'll yeah not gonna fail my test tommorow
Your welcome 💋
thank you
Great video. Helped me a lot! Thanks so much :))
I have my mocks tomorrow thank you king xoxoxoxoxox
Lol same 👍🏻
Anyone for jc 2021?
Can anyone tell me how he got x+y=2 without there being a two on the graph?
thx for helping me pass my test
got an A+
Thanks you baby😘
Very helpful. Thanks
I've got my maths paper two tomorrow
Heh
Thanksss
Very helpful
No problem baby😝
be my math teacher im begging you
Thanks this helped allot
+Kieran Clohessy cheers, let us know if you need another topic
It would be great if you could do a video on applied arithmetic. Thanks

+Danswers Junior Cert Maths Solutions Thanks, the exchange rate video is great
You are a savior
No problem😘
Acc ur so helpful, thxx so much. HL maths is freaking hard 😤
Ikr 😭
Ikr 😭 its not fair!!
Gud job, thanks
Have my JC maths in 1 hour

Y=???
wait a second at 8:01 isn't x only allowed to have one y value
That's true for functions but not necessarily for equations of lines.
oooooohhh ....thx m8
What is y
Your mom😝🥰😘💕🤩
What is x
this way is A LOT EASIER
Why am i even watching this im going to fail maths anyways
great video helped a lot thanks
Thank you
