For your black coffee table you can add a clear acrylic topper that will protect it but keep the same look!

As I was listening to this when you said people were saying negative things about the mirror on top of the acrylic table I was shocked! I think it's beautiful and unique. The short brought me to this channel because I'm a glass/acrylic nut.

that acrylic table vanity looks aesthetically pleasing but it's not practical because where do you keep your makeup for getting ready? also fingerprints and any makeup dirt would be easily visible and clean-up is like an extra step to take care of before leaving the house.
It takes under 2 minutes to wipe something down..
If you wipe it down with alcohol it will be cleaned.
Thank you guys, but that was not my point. My point is the difference between having to do an extra step each day because of visible makeup mess vs that of a white surface like an ikea malm vanity table that you don’t see as far as fingerprints and dust are considered. But you do you boo. Nothing wrong with acrylic at all. I find it very aesthetic. I was just trying to visualize the fingerprints, dust and the constant wipe down required daily vs that of a white surface. Im just speaking my mind out loud. Dont mind my opinion if you LOVE wiping down acrylic every single day. Just not my cup of tea. To each their own. 🥰
@@sashak.4527 sasha, wiping down acrylic with alcohol will only make it worse unless you ALSO have a microfiber towel to wipe it dry. That’s another step right there.
1) wipe with alcohol
2) wipe it dry with microfiber towel
3) nowhere to put away your makeup every day except crouch down underneath her little make-up organizer down there EVERY SINGLE TIME.
That sucks esp when you’re tall. But to each their own. An easy vanity drawer to store makeup after use is always a plus for me vs an expensice acrylic table with no storage drawer for makeup. But hey! If you got the money to spend it, then please do WASTE YOUR MONEY AWAY. :)

I saw something about putting essential oil, alcohol and a little olive oil into a spray bottle w water .. it’s supposed to keep dust away though if you wipe down with that! Def check on that formula though if you try it!

Wouldn’t it better to glue some kind of wood or piece of some kind of colored plastic on top of that coffee table ? Wouldn’t the contact paper cheapen the table’ s look? Modern is not my style but what you picked out looks good. And won’t all that white not be practical? I feel like you are very young yet and over the years you usually change your styles and you will probably change to a more practical color palette. But like I said your pieces look nice and your place is very clean and open. Thanks for the video.
