It’s turned out lovely ,Take heart ,My husband bought me this model house over 30 years ago ,I’ve been working on and off since,I had to stop work as we were renovating our real house so it was kept in an outbuilding ,Bugs had nibbled the wallpaper it looked like a real abandoned house .When I resumed work I thought there wasn’t enough rooms so I added two more on the left side which left a flat roof so I made a little roof conservatory, , ,I was given a large green house so I added that on the left side too,I enlarged the front porch too .I was also given a garden shed so I made a garden ,then a laundry .I made a lot of things myself ,I was thinking of redoing the outside walls as I followed the suggestions of adding sand to the paint but I don’t like the result ,I’ve given up with the electrics as it kept going off .I put a string of l e d lights around each ceiling.not great but it’s light.I’ve wallpapered a few times but decided to use material which was better for me.I’ve got this all sitting on a bench my husband made for me . I will make a vine like yours when I get to it ,
Wow wow wow! I love all of this. I can't believe a Greenleaf dollhouse can look so good. I love everything. Brilliant idea to use the air dry clay to make curved bricks. They look fantastic. Everything is amazing.
I love how the turret roof ended up looking! It’s just perfection❤❤❤😮. Oh the clematis is so pretty! I love you projects!❤❤❤❤. I would appreciate you going through each room much slower than you did this video. I would like to look at all the details each room has 😊. I’m newer to your channel and I’m just not as familiar with each room but I feel really intrigued!❤❤😮😮😊😊😊
This house is the ABSOLUTE BEST kit conversion that I've ever seen! I've always thought that the McKinley was a good investment because it give your the opportunity to do just enough exterior work whilst focusing on the interior, however, you have expanded and enlarged both the inside and out so INVENTIVELY that it takes my breath away! The copper roof size and shape was one thing but enlarging the otherwise wasted space at the top of the tower AND changing the entire roofline are just a few among SO MANY OTHERS, of the dramatic and effective changes that make me want to give you a WELL DESERVED standing ovation- BRAVO 👏👏🤩
Wow! Thank you. I did find the original gabled roofline to be wasteful of space, which for Greenleaf especially with their consistently small rooms, was especially egregious. And also... as a town house, the roofline makes no sense. I prefer Georgian and Regency over Victorian as a mean, so a hip/mansard roof was necessary. And the gingerbread and froof of the porch had to go too. The copper roof was an exercise in experimentation, and I tried all manner of shapes first before settling on it. But thank you. It was a process rather than a vision.
@@feffiescottage I can totally relate how "It was a process rather than a vision" I did a blogpost last week on that very same thing! Looking forward to your next installment!
You’ve done so much, but what you have finished is great. I like the details you’ve done on the cabinets you built (kitchen and entry and (?) witch’s room. Also the ceiling details are nice. What I love most is your climbing vines. If I can ever make a decision on what I want to make, you have convinced me and I will have to include climbing vine.
I like your style! Didn't know you displayed your creations at the state fair, am disappointed I missed seeing them. I would have gone just to see your charming creations! Will you be showing your work in Oregon again? Thanks for sharing.

The vine is tedious as all get-out... but we'll worth the effort.
I like your style!
