  • I have been a fan of Supertramp's since Day 1 and after recently touring their factory in Golden, Colorado I am convinced they are one of the best options out there for pop up truck campers. If you want to chat with me further and see if a Supertramp would fit your needs, schedule an appointment with me below!

    Man I first got the overland bug about 11 years ago but everything is so freaking expensive now 😔. I don't even want to ask how many body parts I'd need to sell to own one of those 😂😢

      I hear ya! At this level it truly is an investment that I believe is only worth it if it’s going to significantly change your life, however one would define that. The cool thing about campers at this level is the fact that they will last just about forever other than maybe vinyl or rubber wearing out after decades of use, which it’s likely to not see that much use in a lifetime.

      If the right body part- you will only need to sell one! 🦦

    It’s luxurious, but all these giant campers can’t fit on a lot of off-road trails. I think the GFC camper is the best for remote off-road camping.

      That is where decisions have to be made about what’s important to you! The supertramps lines are pretty tight all things considered. My camper is the same way with it’s straight walls, but you get so much more inside with it! I’ve only been in 2 spots I got into some trouble with trees and my truck is way overbuilt for my camper

    Almost too nice.
    2003, we built our ExpeditionVehicle.
    Our interior is 7'w by 12'long.
    Twenty-four months twenty-four thousand miles around South America.
    Alaska, Panama, all over North and Central America.
    Summers up rough logger tracks to remote mountain lakes.
    Winters on isolated Baja beaches.
    We collect 'pin-stripes' from branches, boulders, low-flying aircraft.
    Few trails are too narrow for the mighty 1996 Ford CF8000!

    I just need a dry bath and a comfortable place to sit at night or on a cold rainy day, so unfortunately a small bench seat with no backrest and a cassette toilet is a dealbreaker for me😢

    • @Down2Mob
      @Down2Mob  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I would say the bench is pretty comfy for a camper of this size! Do you want a dry bath just for privacy? I really like how this doesn’t take up a lot of space, I’d have a compost or a wrappon dry in there though personally

      @@Down2Mob I’ve camped outside on the ground, in tents, pop-ups, trailers, 5th Wheels and motor homes. I’m just at a point in life that I now appreciate a comfortable queen bed, a porcelain toilet, a shower and theater seating for nights and those cold and rainy days, which I now have in my pretty small Mini Lite 2205S😂

    These are nice but they're not near as nice as an alaskan. They're so close and Price I would go with the alaskan

      Put my deposit on an Alaskan a couple of months ago so I totally agree. Hands down a top tier hard side popup.

    • @Down2Mob
      @Down2Mob  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      I have always thought the Alaskans are a neat camper design with the hard side pop up, but I do consider this fiberglass and yacht build quality to be superior.

    Damn that basic thing for $60k?!? Lmaooo

    • @Down2Mob
      @Down2Mob  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I’m not sure what you consider basic about it, the fiberglass work is up to par with a yacht quality build. It looks clean, smooth and maybe that came off as basic? To me it is relaxing and not busy. White interiors can seem basic though, there is no unnecessary trim or things for looks, certainly more minimal, but all the components have quality form and function in my opinion.

    • @Stevo151
      @Stevo151 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Down2Mob I guess it’s just overpriced in my opinion instead of calling it basic. Doesn’t seem like a whole lot of camper at a $60k price tag is all
