In Kolkata winter temperature is ranging between 11 to 15 & Summer temp 35 to 39, in that case what EO should I use ? 10W40 or 15W40. Although Hyundai suggests in mannual for my i10 5W30 & hope this not correct grade.
Suggest me what should I use ?

Deep information ke liye thanks, mujhe ye janna hai ki mechanic ne meri petrol+cng car (city meerut) me total 5000 diesel 15W40 engine oil use kiya, or usne bola ki petrol engine me koi issue nahi hai use karne se or mai yahi dalta hu sabki cars me. Kya ye sahi engine oil hai petrol engine ke liye?

Bakwas, bilkul galat information hai. Check owners manual of the car, usme jo likha hoga wohi oil use karna chahiye. Aap jahan bhi rehte ho us se kuch farak nahi padta hai.

No completely no. Car manufacterer will decide which viscosity(5w30,0w20,5w40) is better in a particular vehicle.
Guys always see you car munaul book, which engine oil is suitable for your vehicle
Like :-
Maruti petrol cars( 2016,2017 and 2018 - always use 0w20
Before 2016 use 5w30 in your maruti petrol vehicle
In maruti diesel vehicle
Before 2016 use 5w40 or 15w40
And in and after 2016 use 5w30
In hyndai
All petrol vehicle use- 5w30
All deisel - 15w40 or 5w40
Guys always see your car manual book and check which viscosity engine oil is recommended in your vehicle. In will give your car a healthy and long life engine.
