Agree. Keep the opening rounds. It shows your or their opening game plans. I find the first three rounds can really influence the entire game

Opening rounds give context to the rest of the game. It also allows for a solid story arc in each video with the opening rounds being some slowly rising action. Mechabellum games are usually "just right" length as is.

Great video! My opinion: Keep the opening round -- sets the stage for what's to come

Keep the opening rounds ... nice to see how you start and then build from there.

I would prefer the opening round. Gives you a chance to warm up your commentary too

I had also wondered what the videos would be like minus the first round. I think it's an interesting option, perhaps would only be good to ditch the very first round.
Video opening would be about what you both started with on the first round and what the result was then you immediately talk about how you are going to try and counter what occurred etc.
I don't think its a silly idea as the very first round is often pretty slow with not a lot happening. 👍 The way this one started with cutting all of the initial set up and immediately going to the first round battle also felt pretty natural to watch.

I would like it if you didn't "hide panel" as soon as it shows which reinforcement you picked so we can see what the enemy picks. I thought your opponent chose mass produced fortress but couldn't see it.
    Edit: typo

    Keep the opening rounds

Keep opening rounds but also put time stamp for when the particular strategy on the title starts so people that want to skip to the actual strategy can see it fast and dont skip around the video randomly or simply quits after not finding it

I'd keep the opener. Imagine someone suggesting a book but telling you to skip the first 50 out of 250 pages :p u would be lost even if the story really picks up there xD
In mechabellum words, I think there are enough variables in the opener to warrant keeping it :p even if it essentially boils down to something very basic 😅

Never cut the starting rounds :) Speed them up, sure. But don't cut them out. It's very interesting to know how things played out and got to the point they were at in the later rounds. I also enjoy the slightly longer videos.

I'd prefer you keep the opening round, even if it doesn't really make a difference i like seeing how it played out

If you're going to cut something, how about the 30 seconds of looking at a frozen board after every round?

I vote to keep the opening round, but if you want to maybe fast forward through it that would be fine too =)
