- This video is dedicated to the Hyundai Service Center in Almaty which did an amazing job with our diesel engine swap. It is a very professional and dedicated team. The beginning of the video is showing 'Hyundi' off-road abilities on sand, snow and rocky mountain passes. After seeing that, the mechanics understood better why our van needed such maintenance. Thanks to all of you for your support. It was way beyond our expectations.

That generation of Hyundai Starex vans are badass. The only time I ever saw them was when I went to Nicaragua. Too bad these vans were never sold in the USA. I wouldn't mind having one in dark green oem color.

Коллеги, приветствую! А какую резину поставили, если не секрет? Без лифтовки? Ездил долгое время на 235/75 на штатных дисках. Потом решил покататься на колесиках в размере указанном на двери - 215/80. Вот думаю сейчас на лето взять какую-то МТ, но хочется чуть сэкономить - не брать Dunlop, BFG... Спрашиваю у всех владельцев :) Что посоветуете?
Я взял себе пару месяцев назад форвард сафари 540.235-75-15.Езжу уже больше месяца ,пока всё устраивает,шум есть ,но намного меньше чем ожидал.

i change the engine on my 4WD 2001 Starex (D4BH) for a original Mitsubishi (4D56), both are identical but Mitsubishi is made with better materials in Japan.
But your engine is a crdi. No Mitsubishi replacement.
Right but lot of people don't know that! It's in fact possible to swap a hyundai engine with a Mitsubishi but it's a hard labor lot op parts are not same like: oil pan, oil pump, IP wiring, egr,...
