I’m very impressed by this kayak and i like the mobility of it on a river. Thank you for the rigging tutorial it’s looking like a very battle ready vessel! Does it vary in colors as well as suppliers in Colorado? Tight Lines take care and God bless!
Hi Tray wondering what are the advantages or disadvantages of the 14' over the 12' as far as upsteam access goes and power with a torquedo stern mounted motor
Great question. The 14 will have significantly more efficiency moving in any direction. With regard to “attainment”, or moving upstream, the 14 will be able to move you up through stronger current and will use less of your battery life in doing so. Length of wetted surface is the top factor in displacement propulsion efficiency.
I have a 1436 and it’s a great boat! I carry it on a roof rack and came up a fairly simple way to separate frame from hull for long distance trips. Bolt the frame to Yakima round bars on the roof and carry the hull deflated. Had a great trip from WV to Maine this September. I NEED THAT TOOL for the low pro knobs. Couldn’t find it on yak attack website. Any idea where I can get one? Innovative Sportsman?

It can be shipped to Colorado. The colors are green, blue and gray.
Great video Jeff and Treye
Thanks John!

I deflated mine, folding the bow and sponsons inward when I drove down to Monterey, Mexico. Saved some space for other gear.
Will you be at the Sportsman Show in Harrisburg in January?
Not planning on it.
Absolutely love my 1436 wouldn’t trade it for anything. Would really like to find that yak attack multi tool. Looked everywhere and can’t find it
My suggestion is to call YakAttack customer service and ask.
Hi Tray,
When will the track kits be available? Checked the Innovative website and did not see them.
Thanks
Duane, the track is sold as part of a complete boat.
@ Is it the 1.5” extrusion ??
