- "We haven't made a long putt all week long," Nick Price told his caddie as they walked to the 17th green on Sunday...
On one of the most dramatic final days in Open Championship history, Price went head to head with Swede Jesper Parnevik for the Claret Jug. With lead changes aplenty and temperatures rising, who could remain ice cold under the sternest of tests?
Re-live the story of the Great Final Day from Turnberry in 1994.

Has there ever been a more dramatic finish to an Open Championship than 1994?
History doesn’t matter to you guys… you are overly political and spiteful with your tee times and no longer going to Turnberry
..yes.. 2009.. when a Watson missed out on
Do you have 95
Watched this originally and was great to see it again.
We're happy we could take you on a trip down memory lane.
The Parnevik Cap. Mint
Man what a puke from the fairway on 18. But what a bomb by price. As an adult I was shocked to look and see Parnevik only had 4 euro tour wins. As a kid I always remembered him being in contention
Seve Ballesteros was right when he told Nick Price he would win the Open on the 18th hole at Royal Lytham in 1988.
Parnevik choke that becomes the story of his career but delighted for price
Price deserved that ❤
It's a shame Jasper didn't win this.
Nicky P and Jesper could have been brothers.
A shame the open is so political they can’t go to this historic course anymore
Agreed, it really is pathetic. Trump Turnberry is miles better than Hoylake for example.
