I went with a procharger on my Chevy SS and made 764 RWHP. I love the 2650 but didn’t want to beat the fuck out of my drive train with low end torque. Procharger made 12 lbs of boost with filter on 14 with it off. I keep filter on. The 764 was SAE smoothing it actually did 787 uncorrected STD smoothing on a 50 degree day. I also wanted a fighting chance of putting the power down.
New commercial for the i phone glass shield, you can even run over it with a 1000 horespower car and still call your mom.

For a street car that street races a bit would a procharger not be better for hooking.? The power is more Linear And not so instant on the bottom end.

Steve can’t you be a dealer for a tire company so yo can install , test, and return the car to the customer with fresh and safe tires so the customer doesn’t put the car in the ditch when he can’t wait to smash the pedal for the new tires. And how about wheel and tire packages also ? !

@@Ant6O7good to know I’m about to go with a similar setup, I want a 1,000whp On 93 at the minimum, I’m debating on the 427. The 416 always seemed petty to me it’s like choosing a 2300 over a 2650, a waste of potential.
@@1Chinx biggest thing is fueling! You can make 1000whp on sbe. The lt4 needs either port injection or more fuel pumps. Definitely go 427! If you do ported 2650 maggy is great on that setup! AMP has a c7z running 7s with 427 ported maggy and built transmission.
@@1Chinx and 1000 whp on 93 won’t happen. Most tuners won’t push 93 past 850whp. Full e85 or some race fuel will be needed for 1000whp. Only platforms I know that can make that power on pump is tt lambos and vipers. But even then they always run a blend. Timing is better and the engine is happier with higher octane fuels.
@@1ChinxI don’t think the 2300 is a waste … those blowers are making awesome power and more torque and have no problem keeping up with 2650 ..

Very nice car, Steven! Q: What could be done with a car like that, with the 416, so it’s set up not to EVER lose a street race? Maybe from standing start or a 60mph roll race. Well..98% of the time. I’d be willing to let y’all put in the best intercooler(s) possible and spare no expense, for ANYTHING. Oh, and it’d still need to be drivable. I’m here in Houston area.

That looks like a Tag Monaco in beginning but bracelet looks a little different. Either way it’s way too big for his wrist.
I have the opposite issues with watches fitting with 8in wrists. Grand Seiko and Tudor I actually had to buy extra links even buying brand new because my wrist was too big.
Stay with 38mm with a thinner profile. Breitling actually makes some nice chronos if that what you are looking for. Chronos are bigger in general but I would definitely switch to a watch that fits better.
I have a 36mm vintage king Seiko in Tiffany Blue. One of the most beautiful watch faces I ever saw. My wrists are too big to actually really wear it. My 11 year old loves that watch so I occasionally let him wear it to school. Probably shouldn’t with a 72’ vintage watch and that can’t be replaced. My 14 year old I got him a Grand Seiko he wears all the time. I personally prefer Tudor and Brietling for myself.
Its crazy to me that customers don't want to be there for the power pull. Although first time I saw car on the dyno I about shit, but still, a great experience.
Just insane that this is possible and with this level of civility. Im getting Old!

LMR... I would recommend having Toyo R888 standard equipment when customer's are wanting this type of HP. I would only drive something with this much power with nothing less than that tire or a Mickey Thompson tire rated for higher horsepower. 🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁💯🌟👍🙏

was thinking about putting a procharger, 2650 or whipple on my 21 ZL1 but i dont know which one to go with.
Prochargers have no problem making over 2k-3k horsepower so the procharger is not the problem here.
They don’t make that much ….

The most I’ve seen out of a pro charger is 1400rwhp from VR in Georgia that’s it …

@@mach183 There are several out there. You can see a bunch of videos on TH-cam about them. Just saw a Steve Morris 2,200hp procharged car, I've seen 3k hp car. Using the f3 or f1X prochargers. I just did a google search for 2k hp procharged car and found 4 of them in a few seconds. There's not a ton of them but they are out there.

Not saying a twin screw 2650 is a bad route to go, but that is definitely not indicative of what a Procharger will make. My Procharger makes as much power as this C7 with a smaller motor and without direct injection.

Yes, it is still the factory block. We just use a 4in stroke and depending on bore(pistons available) it usually comes out to a 416 or 418ci
That has to do with bore spacing not displacement.

For top end power, it is. The Maggy is more fun down low, for applications under 900 rwhp.

Having that kind of power doesn't even make sense. So your spending 30k on that car to do what? If you rarely track the car, what's the point? Bragging rights? My C7 has an ECS blower, headers,catless xpipe, billy boat fusion axel back, ported throttle body, tuned... And you can't even put your foot into it. Its cool to talk about,, but otherwise, you can't have any fun on the street with it. A C6 Z06 would be more fun.

@@mach183 Roll races, a 1,000 HP car is going to spin, even at 50 mph. Unless, it's a mid engine. Show me a narrow body Red-eye that is going to hook up. Even the wide bodies can't hook. If you can get a wide enough tire under the fenders, how is it going to hook? A C7 Z06 has 345's under the rear and it still shreds them from a dig. A roll race, they would hook with sticky ties. But your not using those on the street.
@@failingup4907 agreed ,,,, there are gonna be some hits where it spins harder then other hits or less then I will definitely not argue that ,, I agree completely ,,, let’s just say close to 80% with proper set up you can achieve managing that power down in the ground but spinning will always be a obstacle regardless
No way a procharger only makes 467 RWHP. Something was wrong.....period. But damn, that 2650R is the real deal.
