This will help you change the key battery on your Vauxhall Astra K
Okay, so this is a key from an Astra K. It flicks out, and it's got the two buttons. Today, we're going to show you how to change the key battery. Okay, so it's pretty easy to change this key battery. All you do is turn the key over. There's no buttons. Then, if you turn it this way, you'll see that there's a little slot. Take a screwdriver, just nice and careful, and then you just leave it open. The whole of this comes off. Yeah. Pull it off, and here's your key battery. This is pretty well-made, to be fair. These are new rivets. They've seem to have gone over to making a better key. We'll see how that goes. It's a CR2032. Just pop a screwdriver down the side there. It's quite tight, but there you go, that's out of there.
Your new key battery just slides in, and then the cover, again, just clicks on. It's pretty firm click. Just make sure that flicks out, and so that's it. With a two-button Astra K key, you are good to go.
