ERRATA - I was incorrect on the USB-C power delivery. The rear USB-C port will support power delivery. For some reason it didn't work when I first tried it but it did work this evening when I tested again. You will get an error message at boot saying it's not enough to power the laptop fully. It will charge the battery and allow for basic tasks but the most power you'll get out of USB-C right now is about 100 watts - a third of what the system's power brick will supply.
Lenovo has best build quality. Bought my first thinkpad by lenovo back in 2011 which still works perfectly somewhere in my neighbour. I've been confused between ROG STRIX, MSI, ACER PREDATOR but I guess I'll buy this one now. Used Y50-70 for 3 years and that was awesome also

Edit: The rear USB-C port is capable of charging the laptop and can support a 4K/120 Hz display (the side USB-C port also supports DisplayPort 1.4). Also the logo on the lid doesn’t change colors but you can turn it off.

I'm a software engineer and I'm worried about the palm rejection on the touchpad. Other reviewers reported accidental touches when typing. Did you have that problem? I'm not even opposed to bringing a mouse but I would prefer not to need it.
Excellent review for an excellent laptop. Although, I am a little bit worried about playing a game like Resident Evil 8 Village at native resolution (max settings) for 2-3 hours without it baking. I wonder if a laptop cooling pad would help…

the rtx 3070 helios 300 is more expensive here the cpu might be a little bit worse and im pretty sure the screen has a bit less hz, i would definitely go for the legion but im a fan of lenovo so its really up to you

for modern standards the display i think its really good but average. this one i think had a fhd screen at 144hz. but this is a good option for its price. I mean there are screens up to 300 but they cost much more those laptops

Ikr lmao. It doesn’t actually effect gameplay like you think it would, although, if you are concerned you can disable the trackpad with a click of a keyboard button. I believe it’s one of the f buttons

It does support power in from the rear usb-c port though. An important feature that needs to be corrected.
I will take a look - you won’t get more than 100 watts out of a usb-c connection so it’ll probably limit what you can do with it

I didn't notice anything but I typically disable tap to click on my Windows laptops as I am prone to tapping the trackpad inadvertently.

That's no brainer, Weaker components use less power, less heat, so less fan cpm required..... With great power, comes great heat.
