- Today I'll be telling you why rec room Cresendo will never be on the quest 2, but possibly the quest 3. Cresendo has always not been on the quest 2 and a lot of players seem to not know why so in this video I will be going into detail on why Cresendo WON'T be on the quest 2. mobile is less laggy then quest two💀
i restate my self some mobile devices are more laggy but most are less laggy
they could just add culling, load the levels in smaller pieces and it would be fine at around 60+ fps
How rec room should make crescendo on quest 2 (ideas):
#1: make the big levels cut up into smaller levels.
#2 make a separate crescendo quest that is made for quest 2 players
Are these good?
another idea is stronger render distance, i dont mean everything has a maximum of 6 polygons but like things super far away are really low poly, sure it'll be more noticeable than a major plot point of any game but still

@@JustBaggy most games have a render distances to keep their games running smoothly, why would this be any different?
@@guhgubble because the quest 2 will be slower because it has to render more of the experience over working it
@@JustBaggy i guess you have a point but then again if it were to just load the whole game as if you were right next to it it'd add the same result but worse, so i guess what they could do is make it distant pictures then load it in once you get close enough

I just need to say this I might be wrong, but if crescendo is able to run on my iPhone 9, then I think it can probably run up on a quest 2 as well
The quest 2 has a snapdragon sr2 cpu, the iphone 9 has a Apple A13 cpu and I'm pretty positive the Apple A13 cpu is better. Now the main reason the quest 2 has kinda a weak cpu is because vr is trying to do a lot more at once like tracking, lenses, etc, which is why vr games specifically on the quest 2 seem to be a lot lower graphics then a lot of non vr games

@@NeonTurkey Unlike Quests 2 and 3, Valve Standalone (Late 2024) will have miniaturized, but POWerful PC Hardware, powered by a chip (More POWerful than a Snapdragon Chip of any kind) similar to the Steam Deck. This Valve headset will be so POWerful, it would have much higher graphics than any other standalone headset (and higher graphics than PSVR). Plus it's POWerful to the point where it could be getting Crescendo.
This NEW Valve Headset (No PC Needed) is set to have Crescendo AND Higher Graphics than PSVR and Meta Quest Standalone.
If they can run crescendo on psvr then they can do it on quest

I know why crescendo a'int on quest 2. because when they add Rec room on quest 2, There are some stuff not supported. but since it is a standalone headset, It will really lag of all things if there are too many inventions or things added to the room. (thats why they use ink limits) (pcvr) pcvr has crescendo because that its bascally working on a screen device. like pc. so it copies what has on screen device! for example: screen mode has crescendo. then the pcvr has crescendo.. And it runs rec room perfectly too. (Psvr) Its like pcvr but in a playstation. This device is a bit weaker than the pcvr headset. So it means it can still kinda lag in big rooms in crescendo. So make sure you have good quality internet psvr players, Especially in TV. btw I recommand pcvr so yeah! Ez explaination and long... right!!??..

I have a short idea for you, the reason why rec room isn't on the switch: the switch has no microphone, and rec room is a social game where you hang out with people, and talk to them and you can't do that without the mic, but otherwise rec room would most likely be on the switch.

Bro I thought they got rid of cressendo bc I used to play on ps4 then got a quest 2 and realized it wasn’t there so I thought they got rid of it but no one quick search and nope mobile can play it but not quest 2💀😭😭🤦
Dude If my vr can load the average map on bonelab (which are big and maps such as drop pit have a lot of stuff and mechanics spreaded around) then a lower quality map in rec room shouldn't be the end of the world.

actually, I was able to access crescendo after hardwiring my quest 2 to my pc, easy fix if you have a computer.
You can’t play on the quest but on a old android phone (basically the same specs as the quest) can totally work with no problems
that one build a __ game with 824962 different parts to use: 🗿🗿
Link cable or Airlink and render via PC. Who cares about the snapdragon when you have a 4090 doing all the work.

They did separate isle of lost skulls, rec royale and cresendo from the quest 2 and its only went on quest 2

i mean it technically is on the quest 2, but u just have to hook ur quest up to a gaming PC that can run natively
So you’re telling me that my phone can’t open any game on rec room without crashing (and don’t get me started on rec room studio)but my phone is able to open cressendo. but then my bulky ahh headset that doesn’t crash that much can join so many games and rr studio games but can’t even handle cressendo. Yeah I ain’t buying it
What type of phone do you have? Because yes some phones are significantly more powerful then the quest 2 due to the quest 2 also having to be a vr headset

Actually, the Quest 2 can handle Crescendo. The actual reason its not on Quest 2 is because all the unsupported shaders that Crescendo uses

Right Off The Bat, people at the office installed something similar to a useless drive on a Car's GPS in order for all of Rec Room to keep lagging for as long as possible, and to keep Crescendo from coming to, probably ALL Of VR Standalone..........

there are some levels that would just not work well at all, like for example garden of sorrow, there are 3 segments and its even laggy on pc
