And Lady Lisle is only getting more exciting! When you said the armchair cross stitch was hundreds of thousands of stitches I think my jaw opened a little Rainey!
Catching up on commenting! I love the Rivendell piece and am going to start it next year along with another Country Magic Stitch- or two possibly : ) Also love the Grand Library fire- swooning over that one! Thank you for sharing, friend!! Merry Christmas!
I just added the whole Phillida Bright series to my tbr 😂 that is right up my alley ❤ I love murder mysteries that feel cozy but have more of the serious threat edge
Hi Rainey! It is so good to hear what you have been reading and stitching and then your fun outings for the holidays! We have been super busy too and I am getting serious now about gifts to be given and wrapped and cards to be sent! I am rereading No Holly for Miss Quinn, a Miss Read book, on my Kindle. I am stitching Rose E’er Blooming by Summer House Stitche Workes. 🎁🎄❤️Enjoy all your projects and all your books!
I love your intro, funny thing though, (I'm at work, so I'm listening and glancing up when I think you're showing something ...), an ad played before your intro, then I hear your intro music and I actually thought it was my favorite Christmas commercial ... is it sad that I now associate that song with the Hershey's kisses Christmas commercial? LOL I FINALLY finished cross stitching the last lighthouse for my mom last night, I've been working on a quilted Grinch wall hanging and I've been reading the same dang book for what feels like forever (Firefly Summer by Maeve Binchy). I hope I can finish it today ... I checked it out as an ebook through Libby and I've had to renew it THREE times ... I've never had to renew a book three times. 😭
lol no judgment from me! Maybe subconsciously that’s why I picked it. 😂 Congrats on finishing the lighthouse! I can’t wait to see it (hint hint). Are you not enjoying the book or you just haven’t had time for it?
@@RaineyDayReads I know, I need to get around and do a video ... I need more hours in my day, LOL It's a Maeve Binchy book, which I have loved everything I've ever read by her, but this one has been harder for me to get into. I think it's a combination of it being hard for me to get into and lack of time. Hopefully I will finish it today or tomorrow .... I have so many things I want to read yet this year -- way more than I have time for, LOL
Are the books you’re reading Victorian? I’m glad you had a great time at the Jingle Ball! I keep missing it cause it always falls on weekends that o already have stuff planned. Maybe next year we can meet up at one of the virtual stitchy tables, if you want.
@@theokiestitcher Lady Lisle is Victorian, but Trace of Poison is a modern writer and is historical fiction around WW1 I believe… maybe WW2. I need to look into what war Christie served in.

😂 yeah my mouth drops open a little too when I think about it!
😊😊😊
I really enjoy seeing the cross stitch projects you are working on
Thank you! It’s fun to work on more things now that I’m done with my focus project.

@ I hear ya! I have time but I get sucked into watching TH-cam while I craft instead of listening to audiobooks.
