Hi K I can't believe how some people can be so nasty at something that is not your fault. You could have a B12 deficiency. I also have that problem and I had to have 6 injections. Take no notice of what anyone else says they have the problem not you. I hope it gets diagnosed for you for your peace of mind. Take care K happy colouring kind regards Samantha
Hi K, I'm so in love with your room. You've done it beautifully. I'd love to see your sticker and stencil collection. I suffer from eczema, my hands can be very sore at times, and not great to look at so sympathise with you. People who make unpleasant comments should just be thankful it's not their problem!!! It used to upset me, but not anymore. Xx
Yes, it was upsetting when I got 3 messages from the same person saying that, unfortunately I cannot help it but hopefully I’ll find out what the issue is and hopefully it can be remedied. Take care and thanks so much for your comment x
Thank you ever so much for your detailed tour. Your videos: I enjoy them a lot and they are really calming and inspiring. Really inspiring. I chuckle everytime you say in your videos “ let me know if your interested “. Because in my mind I respond with eagerness: OF COURSE I AM INTERESTED IN A VIDEO ON THAT”. You explain everything really clearly and relatable and with a lovely voice.
And your hands: never thought about it, never noticed it. not bothered about it. I am sorry for the comments you got about your hands: unnecessary hurtful.

Your art space is amazing! Thanks for taking the time to share how you organize your supplies and collections. I’m thinking about getting rid of two bookcases and getting a giant Kallax unit to store my over abundance of coloring books and associated accoutrement. Love your space! ❤️
Thanks for the tour. That was great! And for what it’s worth, every time I see your hands in your videos I note how lovely and smooth your skin is and how beautiful your hands are. And think of all the wonderful things they create both at work and in your art world.

Love your art room. It looks great. So organized. I am trying to get mine organized. You gave me some great ideas. I used to quilt and it was my sewing room. Have made tons of quilts and now I have as much fabric as a yardage shop . I’ve gotten rid of some of it but have a long way to go so I am trying to work around it and move it to the storage room. Oh well eventually it will all come together. I love the view you have - so peaceful looking. Your desk space is so nice and neat and bright. You take care and thanks so much for sharing with us. Brilliant videos, such a beautiful room. I would love to see the King Art products, I have picked up a few bits from TK Maxx. They had Monte Marte oil pastels which would fabulously on backgrounds ❤

I just love your art room. It’s beautiful. And so tidy. And so light. It’s perfect for creative relaxation. Does your husband like what you have done to it?
It never ceases to amaze me the things people will criticise! Vitamin B12 deficiency causes (amongst many different symptoms) hyperpigmentation, which is often in the creases of the hands and feet. It’s completely reversible. But first you need to find out what your levels are before supplements are added.
The range for B12 is far too wide. Anything under 500 for serum tests is considered deficient by B12 experts/society, but the NHS will ignore it if you scrape 200. But still you need to be tested because if you are very deficient then you need testing for pernicious anaemia, and/or Addison’s disease and may get prescribed B12 injections.
B12 deficiency creeps up on us with age. I have peripheral neuropathy in my feet. It may or may not be B12 related, but just in case I’m on B12 injections. Next school holiday book to see your GP and show them your hands. Ask to be tested for B12 and iron, while they are at it as they are linked.

@@ColouringwithK I'm glad you have a blood test booked. After it's done, ask reception for a printed copy or emailed copy of your test results. GP's have a way of looking at a reference range of 35-120 and declaring a result of 36 as "Fine!" when it's anything but fine. You are a scientist. You will be able to interpret your test results for yourself. Fine is never optimal. Remember the magic number of 500 for B12 testing. Under 500 and the B12 advocacy groups deem it deficient. NHS will let it be a whole lot lower before it trundles into action. Good luck. And if you want to ask anything or run anything past me, feel free to do so. If it comes to self-supplementing, an oral B12 drops is the best and I can give you the brand.
Could of course be iron deficit too. You do pick up a lot of colds and things from the kids and you often say you are tired. I'm glad you are getting checked. Write a list of all the symptoms, however unimportant you might think they are and present it at your appointment. I'm a hypothyroid patient who has not responded well to NHS medication for it and so I've had to learn all this stuff about co-factors and treatments the hard way. Now I'm like a walking encyclopaedia about the key factors, B12 and iron being 2 of them. And vitamin D.
