Mikey is sadly, OUT OF HIS MIND!!! Now, mind you I am not a musician. I am however, an actor (usually professional) playwright (always professional) running some 20 yrs now and I I have however listened to this in several versions, a ZILLION times and I was able to follow it with a little rum in me! I thoroughly enjoyed it!!
Larissa Brewington Oh don't worry, I could easily sing along to this, with our without the rum in me. However, as there are tracks out there where the correct notes are played (the rolling semiquaver motif is wrong throughout the entire track), and without actual mistakes (there's an irregular piano fill after "But if anybody could" and before the rolling motif starts in the actual sheet music that's not present here), I'm much more inclined to use them. I can forgive your ignorance because, as you pointed out, you're not a musician. But when you state I'm out of my mind and cite your irrelevant experience as a qualifier, I'm less forgiving.
It feels like the tempo’s out of place The problem could be that the song is meant to be the actor leading the musicians while here it’s the other way around

This is pretty good. Hard to find the timing without a bouncing ball or sheet music, but thats true of all of this show.

1:18
Do you have putting it together
Mikey is way too critical of this. It's at the least a successful attempt
Zodiaddict no, at the least it is a passable attempt. Far from successful.
Music's too quick after a third in. Timing has off. Supposed to enjoy the words not just sing and throw them away
Not good and your lyric is wrong at 2:03 " ...to return you to the LIGHT." (Not the "night.")
Actually that literally says "the night"
Christ, 3:10 onwards is just wrong!
This is horrible butchering of the orchestration. This is a very diabolical backing track.
