Every time they come out with something new and it goes bad they will lose more players that will not come back. They have to get better about releasing good changes first. They need a test server and until they do that they will keep making the same mistakes over and over again.
I'm glad you touched on what is actually one of the biggest problems with AoZ... it isn't for casual players. I hope one day I can complete a lvl 90 NM dungeon much less the lvl 100 NM dungeon that is supposed to be equal to tier 1 AoZ. It probably isn't going to happen. Right now I can do maybe a lvl 75 max. As a casual player I am not likely to ever see this glyph to even worry about how slow it levels up...
The biggest issue imho. Barrier of entry so high you can barely play it, and to get more chances, you need to go back and mindlessly farm whispers/NMDs. So fun.
@@yuyeastray3541 The issues have been surrounding difficulty spikes, one shots out of nowhere and huge variance in affixes. People are not consistently clearing AoZ tiers the majority of the time. You know that, right?
@@FlyingPancake0390 I guess, never died before tier 10. But this should see some improvements as difficulty of low tiers is heavily nerfed, if people running short on powder, just do some low tier AoZ, way more efficient than things like whispers.
soo first of all thanks for the info, thanks to blizzard for the fast response. that is indeed nice. but i can already tell that stat and number changes wont fix a "bordom" issue with this endgame event... not "new endgame event" just "endgame event". like its a fun issue for me. its not appealing to run this stuff for multiple hours just to level a glyph again... sorry to say that and i appriciate the fast "hotfix" from blizzard side but the "content" itself has a problem, which for me personally is not fixable with -20% damage or something like that to reduce coast of entry to players. again its a "i dont have fun with this type of content" problem as we already have a similar system in D4... its NMDs
I and my friend are barely the 1% , but we managed. Just be patient and help one another. You can pass tier one just stacking defense, and kite the bosses. Did on all my 3 chars. We died few time. But it’s almost our fault. Treat it as game, no blaming and we managed to Al get through. Once you get the gypth. It gets easier. At least the low tiers. The bloodsuckers are a pain for sure, but no way do you need to be 1% of 1% to participate.
No addressing of the sigil dust problem or the exploiters who have unlimited dust now, while the rest of us good boys who didn't exploit have to farm awful/boring NM dungeons just to run AoZ... I feel let down.
Many players are expressing frustration with this mid-season event due to the arduous grind required to reach Glyph level 200. Balancing work and playtime, most individuals can only spare 1 to 2 hours for gaming. Their desire is to become powerful and earn valuable rewards-not settle for mediocre items. I concur with Blizzard’s decision to address this issue in the AOZ. We aspire to reach Tier 25 with a variety of builds, not just relying on HOTA Barbarians and Ball Sorcerers. It’s reassuring that I’m not alone in voicing these concerns; grinding for over 300 hours to achieve Glyph level 50 seems excessive. Currently, my Glyph is at level 5, and the leveling process feels monotonous. Keep in mind that this comment was made before the AOZ buff.
I ran two last night wasn't bad The bosses do some nice damage because the fire explosions and whatnot but. My issue is it gives you fuck all for loot and it's not even 9:25. Like I'll get four items one's 925 the rest are barely 900. This is like some world boss bullshit. If this is the highest hardest and thing to do in the game I should be getting some crazy end game bullshit. So, so far I think it's useless and pointless if I don't get anything off of it I'm not doing it just a fuck around because I'm bored and I want to test my build I want to get some crazy max level crazy perfect role gear at least give me like 8 to 10 items not four..
I'm glad it's harder but let's be real... I have 16k armor and 32k life with bone storm and get one shot on the first teir from the three bosses... I can zoom through the whole rift easy AF and boom one shot by blood seeker... Not fun
Isn’t PoE end game farming same few maps over and over. That’s what i did when I last played unless things changes. If you like it, then play it. Play what you like.
Many things to do, aka kill mobs. I have thousands of hours in PoE, I know the game enough of the gameplay loop . You can do legion, helltide, world boss, NMD, farm bosses, do AoZ in D4 as well. Can be more for sure, which is why they are adding AoZ, & also chritsmas event next week & more coming. One thing I do think POE does well is to be different rewards (like crafting mats, map mats, enchant, carftinng recipes) from doing different activities. But its a double edge sword as well, being force to do something you do not enjoy, like synicate to unlock crafting recipes. But in my opinion (maybe I am wrong) you are already bias to POE, & just wanted convince yourself to play POE insteed. But it doesn't matter. Play what you enjoy. @@NhuQuynh-nv7fp
Man, give us a Fcking chance to get some ubers god damn …. Always These Ultra Special Farming to get a Chance of them. I just want to Farm a Boss 500 Times without searching mats for days like i did in D2.
This is a start, but we need ubers to be dropping from this. It is the latest of late game. This makes uber duriel look like a baby. Give us a chance to get ubers and incentives us to keep farming it. We need an amazing build just to play this, dont see why they cant let us farm only the best items. 925 guarantee everything
I may one day get to try a tier 1, I have a level 100 necro, but for some reason I cant get him to be that strong, just unlucky on RNG for gear, since I dont spend all day playing I chose to roll Sorc and see if I could be better. So far level 60 doing level 78 content after a couple play sessions, which is much better than I could do at the same point with my Necro. I felt like it was designed for no-one to play it.
doing the same layout dungeons with just increasing the health and damage of monsters until you can't complete it anymore for no interesting rewards is not fun or interesting content. if i wanted to do greater rifts i would go play D3. this is D4, it suppose to be better and more indepth. well, so we thought.
I'm not going to play this. grind for more power just to get more power doesn't make sense/ it should be a PVP mode between clans like DI or something like that.
I have not been able to complete the season journey. So i have not tried it. And if i could play i would not. This type of content is just not for me at all.
sorry but there are more fun games out there this game just doesn't have a good reward system for end game hopefully microsoft can fix it in the future or kill it it's whatever for me
POE does that all the time as well, so does Fortnite, LOL, etc Think of it from developer perspective, Does it make sense to hired 100s of playtesters, at say 80K a year average. After play test. release & after getting to hands of thousands, or more, gamers will still complain, & they have to make changes base on the later sample size. or have a much smaller testing team, Make sure the new content is servicable & as good as possible within their means. Release & get feedback then make the changes.
This is the kind of shit that pisses me off. People have been crying that D4 is too easy, and there's no real challenge. Blizzard finally makes something difficult, and players cry for it to be easier. I can assure you that players will cry that it's too easy again after tomorrow. The player base in Diablo 4 is a bunch of whiners that don't want to have to work towards anything. This news is frustrating.
There’s some things that need to be adjusted in AoZ like vampiric affix need to get gone it invalidates your damage. Also the stacking of affix’s makes some combos not even viable for you to play against.
I completely agree with you. The only real issues I see with this game mode is that there is no reason to do it. Even after this patch, No uber's or special drops, the glyph disappears at the end of the event, no leaderboards for boasting. So why bother? I kinda like the difficulty being so crazy,- vampiric being gone makes sense given the time limit but they could have nerfed it instead so it absorbs less life
@@CptnCasual like at tier 10 the fights become prolonged to the point where you run out of time if they have vampiric like it’s not cool at all. I think for the few drops you get it should all be 925 gear. The biggest issue imho. Barrier of entry so high you can barely play it, and to get more chances, you need to go back and mindlessly farm whispers/NMDs. So fun.
Why would dust be an issue though? You know clearing AoZ will reword you ton of dust right?
Sigils will not be an issue if you can clear consistently. Playing in group also helps.

Instead of xp increase they should lower xp required , it gets nuts later on , and I say nuts
