I love how Bouncy is so catchy and accessible on the surface, but the deeper you dig into the weirder it becomes as a song. No two Ateez songs sound alike, but all Ateez songs still sound like Ateez and it's remarkable. I really love the rest of the album too. I feel it's the most balanced project they've ever done because it sounds so cohesive when listened to together but each song stands on its own equally well. It's a true 6 title track album
Sometimes I appreciate my total lack of music knowledge because I can listen to this and bop my head and say I like the sounds, but it doesn't freeze my brain as I try to identify what tf is happening. 😂
Genre = ATEEZ 😂 I learned very early in my ATEEZ journey that they don't "fit" if you try to classify them in a genre, they just exist as themselves and they give us amazing music. This might just be my favorite reaction I've ever seen you guys do, though... so cool to see the expressions. I might seriously have to sit and adjust my entertainment budget to jump into your Patreon, lol.
I’ve been waiting for your reaction to this one. I am often amazed at how Ateez can explore all kinds of genres and sounds, never make the same song, but still sound like Ateez. I think they are trafficking in hot peppers-in a world where emotions are numb a hot pepper allows you to feel something. I love how you were overwhelmed. I often find when Ateez drops a song you have to watch it multiple times to take it all in.
I hope you guys do an "album listen" to this new one. Sooo good, I think you guys will like all the sound! I loved "Dune and Wake up" the most, but I really like the rest of the album as well. Those 2 stood out to me, well Django also! Great reaction!!
Man watching you guys react brings me a new appreciation to their songs. Edenary is a really great music production team, im so glad Ateez has them. Do you remember how everyone was talking about how good the Movement album was? I didn't know they could go higher, but this album is next level! Django is the most popular song of the album, and I agree, but I think something like Dune or Wake Up might pique your interest. All songs are within 5% equally as good tbh. Another thing, I'm glad you're starting to get into Kingdom! I promise they won't let you down. But before you do I highly recommend watching the original version MVs of the songs they will be covering. Wave, Answer and The Real are the ones that would be featuring in Kingdom. Why? I love Bouncy a lot but I can totally see how it would throw people for a loop sound wise. It's a lot going on but that chorus...SLOW IT DOWN, MAKE IT BOUNCY....so catchy! Just stuck in my head. It's like a psychedelic rollercoaster. You might feel like you're high on something when you listen to this! LOL. It's overwhelming for people who aren't used to this style of music which is understandable. I will say the b-sides are amazing on this album for real.
Would you guys be willing to react to the black cat nero? It was a song they covered that got them their first win. And the original singers liked it so much they had ATEEZ make a mv that the original singers featured in
