I have flown out of Doha airport twice, way back in 1987 long before the airport was anything like the size it is now.
Qatar Airways were a very small airline really just starting out, and so I first flew into the Gulf state on a Gulf Air flight with my brother and my Mum. After that it was KLM flights usually a Boeing 747 Jumbo Jet as they were nicknamed.
KLM no longer go to Doha, simply because Qatar Airways have grown so much that there's nothing like the demand there used to be.

Thorough job, as usual, but is there any particular reason you don't use a gimbal of sorts to steady the airport footage? I'm assuming you're wearing a chest harness. I understand that it would be yet another piece of equipment to lug around (plus batteries and charger) but apart from that?
My first forays in the action cam arena were fairly unusable (doesn't help that I have shaky hands!) until I got a gimbal for it. Made a world of difference.
    Cheers 👍

    A380 again! Awesome!
Did you hear about Project Sunrise by Qantas? If so, what do you think about it?
Airbus and Boeing are trying to make a plane that could fly up to 20 hours - The A350 ULR. With that aircraft, Qantas plans to fly from Sydney to London, Brisbane to Paris, and Melbourne to New York all non-stop!
Perth to London was a start for them, however that flight has one problem. The crew members don't have time to rest onboard. They need enough rest onboard the flight.
Edited - I just found out that Singapore Airlines is operating their Singapore > Newark service again, making it the longest flight in the WORLD with the A350ULR as well! 19 hours in the air!
Okay, what in the world is going on? Now there's ANOTHER crash in Cuba. 2018 is a really bad aviation year...

He really wanted to get that thing down quick didn't he LOL? Planted the mains firmly on the runway, of course 388s aren't known for smooth landings. Though I've seen pilots getting better at that bit. QR's crew seemed really friendly on this flight, and happy to be doing their jobs. Food looked really good as well.

I've flown many times on the QR A380 & appreciate using the area upstairs (DOH Boarding Gate) where there is literally no queue or lots of people. But then, it is for people who are flying in 1st & business. The only downside about sitting in 1st/business is that all the nice looking fit birds are in economy 😂

Another way I can describe the audio output is if I were to be able to see the audio, it would be going from a narrow angle to a wide angle back and forth. Then, when hearing the audio from the GoPro standpoint, it would be like looking at everything through a very narrow-angle perspective. It certainly wouldn't be very attractive, and it would be very difficult to enjoy. Even with the headphones on, it's like listening to my favorite music coming from a can over the middle of my head, and I do have impeccable hearing.

Oh dear. Now I know why I fly up the front of the plane. I pay LOTS of money to avoid the jammin' and the squashin' of the economy class. You're there and you're fine with it. I can not imagine it. You are the loveliest people, but I have a problem with crowds and it suits me to be away from all of that. I'm fortunate that I am able to travel up the front as otherwise, I would not fly at all. The airlines facilitate passengers like me, I enjoy my space but I am also paying for your economy flight. We all win. Happy flying.

You must be using the iPhone while making your way through the airport. That sound is fantastic, even though it cuts out slightly and comes back in after a couple of seconds. It seems to do this whenever there are bumps or louder sounds, as the stereo weakens and returns. Otherwise, it's so good to hear that wide open sound. I've upgraded my software here to improve the audio output of my little speakers, and my headphones are amazing. Sadly, they still don't help the audio when anybody records with the GoPro5 even. What is it with those people? I know they care so much about the video quality, but they don't seem to give a darn about the audio quality of the GoPro, and it's a crying shame! It's certainly not your fault, but I do wish they had a built-in stereo mic for much better audio output! Could you please let me know who I could call or write to about this? Even with the audio enhancer software, there's nothing I can do to improve the audio quality of anything captured by the GoPro. I'll keep listening, of course.
