im a kpop fan and jpop fan, and ive always loved horror concepts, but didn't see lots of artists or songs with a horror concept. So when i discovered Phantom Siita from Ado, I was OBSESSED with them!

I love this group. The music, aesthetic, and execution are all very good, especially for a new group. Ado and everyone involved in the songwriting and recording of the songs are at the top of their game as well. Thank you.

That's the problem with normies. Something comes out to the surface and they think they've seen it all. You can't call them the scariest group if you don't know the idol world deeply. There have been tons of truly dark and brutal groups in the Alt Idol and Idol Underground scene years ago: Necronomidol, JyuJyu, BiS, miscast, King Rage, Hanako San, Pikarin, just to name a few. Even now active underground idol groups like mercuro and mazari are more scary and heavy. Phantom is too mainstream to be truly shocking.
FS are more theatrical and pretentious. And that's what makes them more interesting than just shock and underground.

@@Olkam-w5u my friend, mercuro even has concerts with stage plays embedded, it doesn't get more pretentious than that.
the most interesting part of artists like ado ADO (and by extension Siita) is that without the robotic voices they are bringing the vocaloid culture more mainstream.
I think in the near future we will see more artist bringing vocaloid producers onboard or at the very least we are going to see more songs get the platonic girl treatment

I guess Ado wants to live up to her nostalgic idol life when she was still in a group of underground idols back when she was still in high school, so she created this new idol group. who knows
They’re such a great jpop group! I went to their concert on Tuesday in San Jose!! They sang really good😆 best part is that Ado made the group, and ado has been my favorite artist since 2022!!🥰
Last year I went to kikuo's concert in my country , he played kiminobatsu. I was amazed! Since there I become a fan of Phantom Shiita. I love their music and the concept, chef kiss!

I was surprised to see this "unknown" idol group advertising their concert tour in the US on Instagram. It was kinda shocking when I looked them up and saw they had just debuted.

I knew there was a reason why I liked them when they showed up on my TH-cam suggestions. Most music that I like is kind of dark, gothic or spooky, and I am a fan of Ado.
I don't really understand why Kpop is so popular, it is basically rather sterile and safe Western style pop in Korean.
J-Pop is way more omoshiroi, both musically and with the characters that are in it.

el concepto es bueno. Un grupo mas que mantiene la musica idol algo interesante actualmente, espero tengan mas exitos estas chicas 🤩
So its an adol group
Now imagine out of the 4k ladies that applied for the part, the young minors on top of that, even if they were especially talented but got a nay instead of the yay. 3,095 ladies had to go back home while 5 got the part. Majority were most likely Japan born and raised and some were not of Japanese descent I could imagine, if they were, they were part Japanese.
Imagine their disappointment spending weeks of their time prepping for this event and having to go back home! Oh well, that's merit people! These 5 ladies earned the part to be in Phantom and Ado-chan wants to work on 2 projects at a time: her own and a new group. If she hired even half that applied, she would be needing a bigger staff and there would be 0 guarantee the new group would have succeeded! Phantom became a mild success overnight basically. If she was working with 2000 others, she wouldn't be able to rest! Now my only wish for Ado-chan is to write her own lyrics! She doesn't need to compose but at least write the song in itself!
I miss the creepy visual kei and Billie eillish’s creepy albums. Ppl being scared of unique creepy horror aesthetics is good bc it stands out.

In Japan, idols are not treated poorly and are not squeezed to the limit. And girls are not required to change their appearance with plastic surgery.
And also, they do not need to go on extreme diets everyday. Kpop groups eat so little that you begin to question how they are even alive sometimes.
@@logiceraser There are videos of ex kpop members talking about the extremes their managers put on them to stay fit, the body shame is part of it, and some need to get platic surgery to better their faces. So Korea kpop is toxic
@ Actually, the girls of Phantom Shiita don't have model looks, but I like it better that way. And they eat when they want, and they don't live in dorms.

As soon as you said "Haine, which apparently comes from French", I immediately guessed you meant "la haine" (pronounced la hen) which means hatred/hate. La Haine is actually the name of the film I have to study for French. Their fans' names meaning hatred suits their theme quite well.

I do enjoy Phantom Siita but sadly most of the members don't really like the horror style and aren't suited for it. Calling them the most scary idols from Japan is kinda far-fetched. The members are really talented that's for sure and Hisui suited for this.

I think this is the first group I’ve ever referred to as such, but the point is to read between the lines and understand it’s only to draw attention to the video. If you don’t like that then fair but just… don’t watch my videos? Would be my answer.
@DudeJericho sure, i understand it's click bait. Doesn't really stand out when other creators covering the same group are using the same hyperbole. Probably why i confused you with someone else. You could draw more attention by coming up with something creative and original. Stay in your comfort zone if it's working i guess

The hell is with Ado? She’s like a VTuber but doesn’t have a consistent avatar or doesn’t stream anything, she made one song called essentially “shut the fuck up” and she’s been stuck in the Zeitgeist since.
She is the #1 singer in Japan. Who held a concert at the National Stadium for 2 days with 70,000 people, a total of 140,000 people. And who has a world tour this year in 33 arenas on all continents.
I dont get the obsession with ADO. She makes very high quality and well produced generic anime sounding music.
Ado only has 7 songs out of 100 that are anime related. And there is no such thing as "sounds like anime", tens of thousands of anime songs have used all genres, from rock and metal to jazz and rap.

ADO has a couple really good tracks, but most are completely unoriginal, just complex with good production quality.
Again I really don’t understand the EXTREME levels of hype.
