@German Driving School Sir, first of all I would like to thank you for your efforts. Your videos are informative and helpful. I have a couple of questions if you can answer: - If you stop at a junction in a residential area and a bit confused about where to go, do you need to turn on the hazard lights? - On the autobahn, when additional lanes start to begin on the right, my driving instructor asks me to change the lane to the right. But Normally I miss that lane and realise it too late that I have to change the lane. Is there any trick or a sign when I can know in advance that I have to prepare to move into right lane? - Finally, do we need to turn on the hazard lights on the emergency break during the test? Looking forward to your response.
Thank you 😊 Hazard light are only legal for: 1) car breakdown 2) accident 3) end of traffic jam 4) puling a car after breakdown (both cars need it) No hazard lights for not knowing where to go. No hazard lights for emergency breaking in exam. Later you have to decide if you use them after emergency breaking. If you keep standing it is better to switch on because you are number one in traffic jam 😂😂👍 By law you have to take the most right lane on outside city roads (country road and highway) if you are not overtaking someone. German law says that 30-45 seconds is the limit for deciding to change to the right lane or not. Result: use long free spots on the most right lane. Use your mirror to see how urgent it is to move to the right side that others can overtake you. ❤️☮️

When we have red without arrrow, which means during our green someone also will have green. Those are 1. Oncoming traffic 2. It's a racket to make more money from the insane exam fees. They don't really allow for mistakes even if you drive really well generally. At 8:15, you say "Because we have to turn left, we just need to check the pedestrians behind our left turn. Oncoming traffic is coming out of low traffic zone, they dont have traffic light there so we dont need to check them." Can someone please explain this?
You can see there is a ‘no entry’ sign on the on coming road. That’s why during left turn you don’t have to check that road.
When we have red without arrrow, which means during our green someone also will have green. Those are
1. Oncoming traffic
2. Pedestrians on which road we turn
The on coming traffic already having green now, so they will not have green when we get.
Hence, we should only check for pedestrians on the road where we trun into.
yes, there is a curb stone, indicating it private property so, they anyway have lowest priority. So, just watch for the pedestrians and bi-cycles before making left turn.
Das ist ja eine schöne Gegend, wo ist denn das?
hello mr.andy i wanted to ask what if she made a u-turn justt before the no entry sign like 2m before, would that count as fail or pass?
U-turn is what it was supposed to be. The only solution in that situation.

as a aspiring driver with 0 knowledge on driving. how much € will i spend if in case i failed many times? i just want an estimate. 20.000€+ ?
For 20000€+ you get the driving school car additionally to the license 😀👋

@@GermanDrivingSchool 😂 i still cant tell if i can pass the exam in just one take with 0 experience. i still need to memorize first the parts of the car.🥲
I am a stubborn idiot and it took me almost 3500 euros with 0 starting knowledge. -A normal person can expect a lot less.- I failed my research, apparently Germany is extra expensive compared to other Euro countries. So...if you pass with 30 40 50 lessons, youll have spent as much as me with my 80 lessons in Latvia (Riga, its a nightmare).
@@BichaelStevens that is inspiring. did you get better and confident after having a driving course?
@@bravekneesomg I passed over a week ago and don't have my own car lol. I'll get to drive soon with a company minivan.
Can you share what are the waiting times to get appointment from TUV in your area? I've been waiting for 2 months for my appointment in Berlin and there is still nothing. Do you know if it is possible to do practical test in a different city than you live in?
6 month for Berlin for now
@@MegaWaniz are you joking? My school in Berlin told me that maximum like 4-6 weeks, then I signed up. Got trapped?
Why did he fail?
He wanted to pass no-entry sign at the traffic lights (last scene) instead of doing a u-turn. I needed to brake that we don't pass the signs

Sir my exam is within 1 week i have just one confusion if u can clear me please. What the speed should be entering and ausfahrt on autobahn ?
Entering should be minimum same speed like trucks (90kmh). So if there is normal traffic merge with (accelerate to ~100kmh).
After you have changed to the braking lane reduce your speed from ~100kmh (if it was allowed) to 50-60kmh for the first right curve.

@ thanks alot sir

German driving exams are very unfair to new drivers, how do they expect the new drivers to be 100% Perfect. And on top of that it is so expensive.
Some rules are simply stupid.
Exams ARE generally fair. You always have beginner in exams. No matter what kind of exams. 100% perfect is not required. 80-90% is enough. But there are some no-gos in exams. And no entry ⛔ is one of them.
And just think about how expensive your mobile phone is which you hold in your hands right now. Do you still have it in 20 years like your license or do you probably change mobile phone to the next, better, more expensive generation?
You don't need to answer. My school is next to a Vodafone shop. I know how people (including me) spend money for mobile phones 😂😂

What "some rules"? Please give examples 😃
@@GermanDrivingSchool Bad Choice of word from my side, I should say very very confusing. That’s why it doesn’t make sense to me at least. (As a beginner driver)
@@GermanDrivingSchool I totally disagree with you when you say they are generally fair.
Oh noooooo he was so close 😢
Sehrrrr guttttt.danke

Oh my god I am afraid little bit because I will give practical exam in this month 🥹

One mistake and he fails! 😮
it's a substantial one.

I just failed my driving test today after driving for 30minutes. Its so devastating
Oooooh, what happened?
@@GermanDrivingSchool i did the umkehren at a little dead end and it was not so smooth because i took lots of time and many manouvers. Driving out of the dead end and the examiner asked me again to look for a spot and do the umkehren. Immediately i begin getting nervous because in my head i was done with that activity and now i was on a tight street with parked cars both left and right. I found a small spot on the left drove in and was blocking the both streets. That was when he terminated the exam and my instructor had to drive back 🤦♀️🤦♀️. I feel so down because i have never struggled with umkehren. How this happened i am still in shock
That’s was my case yesterday😢😢
I hope you have passed it now.
wtf , the person was good , our rules are shit :) u should have passed this guy omg
It's a racket to make more money from the insane exam fees. They don't really allow for mistakes even if you drive really well generally. Most drivers on the road overlook certain rules and makes tens of mistakes each day, but the examinee is expected to drive perfectly and the only allowance is for things like being a little too slow sometimes but no allowance for mistakes. It's financially and emotionally draining.
No entry = no entry
@@k.constantine I can't speak for Germany, but I doubt a lot changes across other EU states incl. my "beloved" Eastern Europe (it seems our laws are 0.99:1 copies of the German law); I passed with some mistakes - I rolled forwards in the starting parking lot which ALMOST failed me since I braked at the LAST moment (examiner said he was very afraid and was a moment away from intervening). I wasn't polite, I attempted to shift into reverse without the clutch coz I was nervous, I took a ton of time turning left into a one-way street because I thought it was a 2-way (i was also worried about pedestrians on the left wanting to cross). 4/14 categories in the protocol marked "satisfactory" and not "good". Passed. "Overall, I am satisfied with your driving".
I have personally witnessed SO many accidents and almost-accidents, even fatal and narrowly-avoided-dying ones, during my lessons. I almost got rammed off the road, almost got T-boned MANY times, etc. _"Most drivers on the road overlook certain rules and makes tens of mistakes each day"_ yeah I am WAY TOO aware of that from all these crashes I've seen or avoided... *don't use others' behavior as an excuse or a "buhh The Big Man is too strict! It's all a scam!", or else you'll be the next accident* . Oh, last week 2 people got fatally run over because a car sped thru a pedestrian crossing :) do YOU want to be that driver?
