To suggest that Luke 21:36 is about escaping via rapture is to offer a salvation of works. To those who preach such falsehood... please answer this question: How is that going for you personally.... Praying always that you may be counted WORTHY to be raptured/saved? Christ was teaching and offering a relationship so that He could extend protection in Psalm 91 fashion... as He prayed in John 17;15.... that we would not be taken out of this world, but be kept from evil.

Bro you’re not rightly dividing the word of truth…. there are other scriptures like all the scriptures about apostate church… Jesus knew there was going to be those who were going to choose to walk away from the Lord because of trials and persecution… where the parable of the sower and the seed would be applicable here…. so it’s not incorrect for us to pray like Jesus said that we would count ourselves worthy of a skate because those who go Up in the rapture are those who are waiting and longing for him to come and have prepared themselves for it… He’s giving a clear warning here and instructions on what to do I think it’s quite clear I don’t see it like you do

@@bonniedrake8382 So how is that going for you personally? Praying always that you may be considered worthy to be saved/raptured... Luke 21:36? Do you pray the sinners prayer over and over again to increase your worthiness? Do you realize you are now offering a salvation of works?
Both the wise and foolish virgins are waiting for His return. The foolish virgins brought oil in their lamps, but not a vessel to fill their lamps once they ran out. You don't bring a gas can along with your car, unless you think you are going to run out before you get to your destination. What if the duration to the destination takes longer than anticipated? .... you start asking others along the way for more fuel. ...more oil for the lamps. Not understanding the duration of time is what makes the virgins foolish. The foolish virgins thought that His coming was imminent. The wise prepped. The foolish are told, "I know you not".
Christ tells us that the "stony soil" believers have no mindset for tribulation and persecution... and when it comes, "they immediately stumble".... Mark 4:18. Paul tells us that the great falling away is in context with the man of perdition revealed... 2 Thess 2:1-3. If a person comes into a place of "Hope deferred", it makes their heart Sick.... Prov 13:12. If their huge expectation that they thought was so Biblical, becomes a delusion once the Mark of the Beast is mandatory, what do they have to hold on to? Everything they once believed (were taught) is now in question.
No Scripture even remotely offers a rapture prior to tribulation.... the doctrine is in place to snare the stony soil believers. Why do you think Christ warns, "take heed that no man deceive you"... Matt 24:4, and then tells us that He comes after the tribulation...vs. 29-31? WHO taught you that He comes prior to tribulation?

Did Jesus admonish the 7 churches to believe, or to overcome? Revelation 2 & 3.
None of the seven churches are mentioned _by name_ after chapter three because _only those individuals that overcome_ will make it.
Revelation 15:2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had _gotten the victory_ over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.
gotten the victory = (Gr) _nikao._
Ephesus. Revelation 2:5, 7. *REPENT,* To him that _overcometh_ (nikao)
Smyrna. Revelation 2:11. He that _overcometh_ (nikao)
Pergamos. Revelation 2:16-17. *REPENT,* To him that _overcometh_ (nikao)
Thyatira. Revelation 2:21-22, 26. *REPENT,* And he that _overcometh,_ (nikao)

Philadelphia. Revelation 3:12 Him that _overcometh_ (nikao)
Laodicea. Revelation 3:19, 21 *REPENT,* To him that _overcometh_ (nikao)
Revelation 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep ( _tereo_ ) thee from ( _ek_ ) the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
John 17:15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep ( _tereo_ ) them from ( _ek_ ) the evil.
"Because thou hast kept the word of my patience..." Revelation 3:10.
"...Here is the patience and the faith of the saints." Revelation 13:10.
"Here is the patience of the saints..." Revelation 14:12.
A lot of Christians need to take their gospel armour out of the closet, dust it off and be ready to overcome the beast.

Luke 21:29-36 is a parable, its application and a warning.
    Luke 21:29 And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;
Not just the fig tree, but "all the trees".
Luke 21:30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.
    Compare Matthew 16:2-3; Luke 12:54-56.
Luke 21:31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
Since we will see these things, the escape can not have anything to do with leaving Earth.
Luke 21:32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.
33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
Watch against every sin, snare, and temptation; particularly, against the above things, surfeiting, drunkenness, and worldly cares; pray continually, for fresh supplies of grace. Escape the dreadful miseries and distress that shall come upon the wicked and unrepentant. Stand before him with intrepidity, confidence, and pleasure; and meet him at his coming in this way, with joy and comfort; and likewise at death, and at judgment. See 1 John 2:28. Compare 1 Thessalonians 5:1-10. Revelation 16:15.
Did those verses say, "leave the Earth"?
    Someone said it.

Revelation 12 is an outline of the enmity between the seed of the serpent and the seed of the woman. Genesis 3:15.
Revelation 12:1-2. It was Israel, from a certain seed, that brought forth the man child, that is, the Christ. Compare Revelation 12:1 with Genesis 37:9, with Joseph being the 12th star, of course.
Revelation 12:3-4. The dragon consistently tried to destroy the promised seed, either by death or by the corruption of the seed line, e.g. the murder of Abel, mixing with the fallen angels, Herod's slaughter of all children under 2 yrs in Bethlehem, etc. Therefore, the woman travailed in birth. Revelation 12:2. Jeremiah 31:15. Matthew 2:17-18.
Revelation 12:5. Christ was born, accomplished his work, and ascended into heaven. Luke 24:51. Acts 1:9.
Revelation 12:6, 14. Israel is taken to "the wilderness", not the land of promise. This appears to happen in stages, hence the two verses. The land of promise is currently occupied by "the synagogue of Satan", Revelation 2:9; 3:9, and their flag is a hexagram of sixes, hidden in plain site.
Revelation 12:7-8. Now, the dragon fights desperately to keep his place in heaven. He knows that if he is cast to earth that "he hath but a short time." Revelation 12:12. 2 Thessalonians 2:6.
Revelation 12:9-12. The dragon is cast out of heaven. Heaven rejoices that "the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.", finally "taken out of the way." 2 Thessalonians 2:7. _This is the next "great event" to happen,_ in the context of this enmity.
Revelation 13:1-4. The dragon gives power to the beast, and the beast is revealed to the world. 2 Thessalonians 2:8-10.
      _The restrainer is the dragon._

Heaven must receive Jesus Christ "until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began" Acts 3:20-21.
Therefore, the Lord cannot _descend_ from heaven, 1 Thessalonians 4:16, until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.
That is a powerful delimiter. Am I suggesting that Christ is limited? Yes. He came to fulfill the word of his Father, not his own. But if someone comes in his own name... well, you know the rest.
The _subject_ of 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 is the dead in Christ and how living believers will reunite with them on that day. The "sorrow not" of verse 13 corresponds with the "comfort" of verse 18.
Therefore, if other details about that day are _omitted_ from those verses, then it is because they have nothing to do with the _subject._
It has nothing to do with an escape. It is the "first resurrection" of "the dead" at the "last day", at "the coming of the Lord" when "the Lord himself shall descend from heaven". John 6:39, 40, 44, 54. 1 Thessalonians 4:15-16. Revelation 20:5.
_Therefore, the signs for the resurrection and the signs for the second coming are the same._
The Gr _apantesis,_ or "meet", is found only in Matthew 25:1, 6; Acts 28:15 and 1 Thessalonians 4:17, and it is used for greeting and returning with. It was a custom of the time to go out and "meet" someone who was coming to _your place,_ especially if it was an important person.
    1. The virgins go out to "meet" the _coming_ bridegroom. Matthew 25:1, 6. _They're not skipping town._
    2. As Paul approached Rome, the bretheren went out to "meet" him, and they accompanied him on his way to Rome. Acts 28:15.
    3. 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17 says _nothing_ about ascending into heaven, only a "meeting" with the Lord in the air as he _descends_ from heaven, at "the coming of the Lord", "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven..."
Therefore, at the second coming, the Lord comes _for_ His saints and _with_ His saints in quick succession.

2 Cor 5:1-6 tells me we have a body (aka tent) in heaven before the pre-trib rapture. Therefore, a resurrection is not necessary at the pre-trib rapture (Luke 17:37).
There is only one resurrection for believers (John 6:39-54, 11:24, Rev 20:4-6). It is a singular event, not plural, and it is on the last day, last trump (aka second coming).
1 Cor 15:40 states there are heavenly bodies and earthly bodies. We need a heavenly body in heaven and an earthly body on earth. Two different types.

That is so NOT true….you must understand who Paul is referring to here in 2 Thessalonians 2…an imposter had deceived believers that the rapture had already happened…vs 3… talking about Those who had abandoned the faith & the antichrist is revealed…then continues to speak of the antichrist and describes those who walked away from the Lord…then speaks to the church again the believers… verse 15 brothers and sisters for 17 comfort and encourage one another and there are other references all through Thessalonians at the end of every chapter he says comfort one another with these words…. you can’t comfort a believer by telling them they’re going to go through the day of wrath or The tribulation.
