Heaven must receive Jesus Christ "until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began" Acts 3:20-21. Therefore, the Lord cannot _descend_ from heaven, 1 Thessalonians 4:16, until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began. That is a powerful delimiter. Am I suggesting that Christ is limited? Yes. He came to fulfill the word of his Father, not his own. But if someone comes in his own name... well, you know the rest. The _subject_ of 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 is the dead in Christ and how living believers will reunite with them on that day. The "sorrow not" of verse 13 corresponds with the "comfort" of verse 18. Therefore, if other details about that day are _omitted_ from those verses, then it is because they have nothing to do with the _subject._ It has nothing to do with an escape. It is the "first resurrection" of "the dead" at the "last day", at "the coming of the Lord" when "the Lord himself shall descend from heaven". John 6:39, 40, 44, 54. 1 Thessalonians 4:15-16. Revelation 20:5. _Therefore, the signs for the resurrection and the signs for the second coming are the same._ The Gr _apantesis,_ or "meet", is found only in Matthew 25:1, 6; Acts 28:15 and 1 Thessalonians 4:17, and it is used for greeting and returning with. It was a custom of the time to go out and "meet" someone who was coming to _your place,_ especially if it was an important person. 1. The virgins go out to "meet" the _coming_ bridegroom. Matthew 25:1, 6. _They're not skipping town._ 2. As Paul approached Rome, the bretheren went out to "meet" him, and they accompanied him on his way to Rome. Acts 28:15. 3. 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17 says _nothing_ about ascending into heaven, only a "meeting" with the Lord in the air as he _descends_ from heaven, at "the coming of the Lord", "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven..." Therefore, at the second coming, the Lord comes _for_ His saints and _with_ His saints in quick succession.
2 Cor 5:1-6 tells me we have a body (aka tent) in heaven before the pre-trib rapture. Therefore, a resurrection is not necessary at the pre-trib rapture (Luke 17:37). There is only one resurrection for believers (John 6:39-54, 11:24, Rev 20:4-6). It is a singular event, not plural, and it is on the last day, last trump (aka second coming). 1 Cor 15:40 states there are heavenly bodies and earthly bodies. We need a heavenly body in heaven and an earthly body on earth. Two different types. Thanks for video and letting us post Pastor Robert. You are very kind 🙂

Therefore, if other details about that day are _omitted_ from those verses, then it is because they have nothing to do with the _subject._
It has nothing to do with an escape. It is the "first resurrection" of "the dead" at the "last day", at "the coming of the Lord" when "the Lord himself shall descend from heaven". John 6:39, 40, 44, 54. 1 Thessalonians 4:15-16. Revelation 20:5.
_Therefore, the signs for the resurrection and the signs for the second coming are the same._
The Gr _apantesis,_ or "meet", is found only in Matthew 25:1, 6; Acts 28:15 and 1 Thessalonians 4:17, and it is used for greeting and returning with. It was a custom of the time to go out and "meet" someone who was coming to _your place,_ especially if it was an important person.
1. The virgins go out to "meet" the _coming_ bridegroom. Matthew 25:1, 6. _They're not skipping town._
2. As Paul approached Rome, the bretheren went out to "meet" him, and they accompanied him on his way to Rome. Acts 28:15.
3. 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17 says _nothing_ about ascending into heaven, only a "meeting" with the Lord in the air as he _descends_ from heaven, at "the coming of the Lord", "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven..."
Therefore, at the second coming, the Lord comes _for_ His saints and _with_ His saints in quick succession.
Thanks

The Elders get s resurrection and change before the first seal is opened in Heaven. See Revelation 4&5. They will rule on Earth as Kings and Priests, Revelation 5:10. In Revelation 20:4, they are sitting on thrones. They DON'T GET A RESURRECTION!!! The saints get a FULL RESURRECTION on the Earth.
@@Pre-Tribulation The Elders will not live on earth during the millennium? What verse leads you to believe the Elders are resurrected before the first seal? I read chapters 4 and 5 but don't see a verse that says the Elders are resurrected.
@@onetakendotnet They are REDEEMED to the throne!!! In order to go into Heaven, we must have our vile bodies CHANGED! The Elders are in Heaven and rewarded BEFORE the 1st seal is opened! The foolish virgins brought oil in their lamps, but not a vessel to fill their lamps once they ran out. You don't bring a gas can along with your car, unless you think you are going to run out before you get to your destination. What if the duration to the destination takes longer than anticipated? .... you start asking others along the way for more fuel. ...more oil for the lamps. Not understanding the duration of time is what makes the virgins foolish. The foolish virgins thought that His coming was imminent. The wise prepped. The foolish are told, "I know you not".
Christ tells us that the "stony soil" believers have no mindset for tribulation and persecution... and when it comes, "they immediately stumble".... Mark 4:18. Paul tells us that the great falling away is in context with the man of perdition revealed... 2 Thess 2:1-3. If a person comes into a place of "Hope deferred", it makes their heart Sick.... Prov 13:12. If their huge expectation that they thought was so Biblical, becomes a delusion once the Mark of the Beast is mandatory, what do they have to hold on to? Everything they once believed (were taught) is now in question.
No Scripture even remotely offers a rapture prior to tribulation.... the doctrine is in place to snare the stony soil believers. Why do you think Christ warns, "take heed that no man deceive you"... Matt 24:4, and then tells us that He comes after the tribulation...vs. 29-31? WHO taught you that He comes prior to tribulation?
No Scripture even remotely offers a rapture prior to tribulation. Paul calls the event "the resurrection of the dead"... 1 Cor 15:42-54, which is what he didn't want us ignorant about in 1 Thess 4;13-18. In these passages Paul directly states that the dead return with Christ...vs 14, and get their physical bodies back resurrected from the dead...for they "RISE FIRST"...vs. 16. Paul directly states that these physical bodies do not go to heaven... 1 Cor 15:42-54...see vs. 50. Christ continues from the air/clouds to the Mount of Olives with all of His saints... Zech 14:4,5... as He modeled in Acts 1:9-14...and returns "in like manner as He left". Every argument for a rapture prior to tribulation is birthed in deceit

That is so NOT true….you must understand who Paul is referring to here in 2 Thessalonians 2…an imposter had deceived believers that the rapture had already happened…vs 3… talking about Those who had abandoned the faith & the antichrist is revealed…then continues to speak of the antichrist and describes those who walked away from the Lord…then speaks to the church again the believers… verse 15 brothers and sisters for 17 comfort and encourage one another and there are other references all through Thessalonians at the end of every chapter he says comfort one another with these words…. you can’t comfort a believer by telling them they’re going to go through the day of wrath or The tribulation.
