Thyda, I noticed a little confusion in your translation ( even at the last video ). The "root" you talked about is "ginger", not galanga. I believe you know it, Galanga is "rumdeng" in Khmer.
I want yo try making the sticky rice cakes ive seen several people make them but im not sure of myself and no one seems to soke the rice the same amount of time and ive seen pork belly bananas and all kinds of things go into them one day ill get brave enough to try making them all the food looks good i wish you good luck happienes and health may peace be with you always
