As someone who grew up during the cold war, I think I enjoyed the story more because of that connection. The art is a little loose, the result of artists exploring relatively new hardware and software twenty years ago. It is probably one of the last stories with the old Nick Fury too, something that will probably puzzle a few younger viewers
The story deals with history from the late 80s and early 90's in a style typical of the early 2000s, When you consider that motion comics and comic dubs are a product of the last decade or so, this one bit of media combines influences from over forty years. That's pretty deep, and I hope more people have the good fortune of this showing up in their feed. For the amount of work that goes into them, comic dubs are seriously under appreciated.
