@@zaya5360 Keeping calm doesn't mean doing nothing. It just means shop as you normally would but when you go out make sure to wash your hand and reduce face touching. That's a calm response. Gathering in huge crowds of likely sick people to get supplies for a closely based reason is what is causing the major problem.

The mother says that they only found out that the shows were being cancelled while they were commuting to NYC from Virginia on the train. It was too late to cancel their trip. I'm fairly certain they'll either be reimbursed or be given the option to go to future showings once the pandemic/crisis has subsided.

I feel this is finally getting real. It always was, don’t get me wrong, but it always felt far away, with the worst being that toilet paper was running low. Now travel is reduced, I can’t go see my sick Grandma in England and she’s stuck in her own. At school, we have to clean the classrooms and it probably will be shut soon. This virus is finally starting to kick in everywhere now, not just Wuhan.

May seem like nothing now but just look at Italy.

And if the pop all gets infected around the same time and hospitals couldn’t care for those who would have otherwise been in bad condition but not death, that further raises the death toll. Then take that to a world wide perspective especially with third world countries... this could be devastating if not contained.
Virus is more contagious than influenza and has the same estimated mortality rate. Check out where certain countries had higher rates of death than others during Spanish flu. If this spreads like Spanish flu, tens of millions could die, and not to mention deaths associated but not directly caused by the virus due to comprimised health care system

I went into town yesterday because a friend said people were coming here from the city to buy out all of our stuff.
