Goy here, who leans toward both orthodoxies. This was a fantastic talk that I needed to hear. It was a blessing to show up in my recommended videos.

Thank you very much for posting this video, it’s not by mistake that I came across it, i’ve been having a rough past couple of days and the year on top of that after coming out of jail, I lost my home. I lost my vehicle and I lost my family all because of my ignorance and lack of humbleness, honestly, while incarcerated I contemplated on taking my life but I knew deep down inside if I did that I would never find forgiveness from God Almighty, and the past couple of days have been really rough that all I wanna do is stay high to be numb I have never smoked so much in my life to the point where I started drinking again, I woke up today morning and a confused state and I wondered to myself why did I wake up at all? Why couldn’t I just fall asleep and never wake up again but for some reason God gave me another chance, there is something that was stated in this video and that is that we are not the master of our destiny and unfortunately, until now I came to the hard realization of how true that is
We must stop solely depending on us and to better ourselves, but we should rely and depend on God to guide us

Talking to God is a conversation between a father and his son. It's that simple! No mystery or big explanation required.
Unless you become again like little children you shall not enter the kingdom. For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these who humble themselves as little children.
Lifting your hands and looking toward daddy to lift you up.

I was going to say i feel I am always speaking to God. I also ask for forgiveness if I think my out loud thoughts are selfish.

Just speak to God with your true thoughts and feelings because you know you can trust him because he knows you better than you know yourself and he even loves you more than anyone will ever love you so can be totally open with him

God is a Spirit, therefore talk to God in the spirit and in truth.
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. John 4:24

You pray to GOD in Spirit and truth. The Word of GOD is truth. GOD is Spirit, and so are you Spirit, possessing a soul housed in a body created in their image and likeness. You pray Spirit to Spirit using GOD'S own words in the Bible.

I do not try to talk to God personally instead I listen a lot to people of religion talking about their beliefs and experiences.
