Recording this took me so much longer than it should've. Anyway, I love this mod sooo much, it's probably more finished and polished than most FNF mods despite being canned, huge props to the dev team for creating this masterpiece. I loved V1 Monochrome but this new version makes me love it even more, it sounds much cleaner and more orchestral than the old one. Let me know what you think in the comments!

Can you spot all the changes?
Yes
New custcene at the start
New charting
Song updated, including new vocal notes in some parts and a whole new section with Gold's disembodied head, therefore new sprites too
The part of the health bar affected by Celebi's perish song is now white instead of gray
New words to translate can appear now (I think)

Yes yes we can.
The cutscenes is now here and Gold is now moving in a floaty type of way and the vocals are a bit different and the chart is completely changed. The vocals for boyfriend are a bit higher and the word mechanic is a bit easier ,and some of the parts for the first phase is a remastered. Gold no more it animated Gold also she his head tired apart now you can see the words around him and two glowing words are in his eyes.The mechanic is harder Rin the second phase.
All changes that I could spot:
- cutscene added in at the beginning
- song redone and extended
- Gold's icon is smaller unlike in v1
- new chart
- new words for the mechanic
- New engine
- you have more time to finish typing out words now
Overall very good changes. Definitely made the song much more awesome
You forgot that the resolution is also smaller
You can see name of the song unlike v1
there's also a colored counter for when notes are hit, remixing on the song
and the extended part at the end obviously
Also the screen shakes and Gold’s voice and the jumpscares are quiet
Imagine how many monochrome covers are outdated nowadays
I'm definitely not going to count then come back.

Things I noticed:
-A Cutscene at the beginning
-Subtitles when he talks
-celebi appear in a different position
-Jumpscare is a bit shorter now
-New unown text
-The unown timer is extended
-Song remix and extended to 4 minute
-New chart
-New sprite

-When celebi appears the notes revolves around him
-Jumpscare always appear not like in V1

Gold also floats around in idle now
Another change: health bar is more brighter and takes less hp away
Gold and the HUD doesn’t bop with the BPM in V2 unlike V1.
I like how the old one sounded and was charted but the new bit at the end for the new one is sick as hell
I liked the way it was charted and the sound is pretty cool, but ye I agree that the newer one is awesome too ^^
they're both amazing in their own ways :3

I like how no one noticed that you have a bigger health bar than in v1
Only initially, but as both v1 and v2 finishes, the health bars are almost identical. But you are right, you have a higher health bar in v2 then in v1
I think that’s because now there’s a second song
one change i saw that nobody is mentioning is that in V2, the camera moves slightly depending on the arrow the player is pressing
It’s First Person that’s why.
V2 definitely sounds clearly and also has that extra stuff added to it

But I think they at least ported some psych things to it
I’m pretty sure it’s just an upgraded PsychEngine, that’s why the health bars and text and UI look basically identical

2:35 The old version of the song just ends there while the new version has extended the song and when Lost Silver said “No. More.” before he transform into his second form and the song continues until the end.

I love the changes on this i may not have played fnf mods for a while but i love this new and improved monochrome
1:20 i like the V1 more because his body looks like he is flopping around in anger, where in V2 he genuinly moves around rapidly.
Thinking that a limbless body would start flopping around in anger makes me much more scared than it moving like a glitch lmao! But V2 is so so much better in so many ways, that's just a silly thought i had while watching it
(edit: tho, it is so much more pleasing to see the body move accordingly.)
I didn’t even realize that the original part of Monochrome got a rechart

Just a little detail i got: In the beggining with the bell sounds, in the v2 it is louder than the v1
Im surprised at how they were able to make such a disturbing thing in a game like fnf

what i would recommend is a left-right audio, where one version plays in the left ear and one in the right ear. headphones are recommended lol

The fact that the cursed letters sticking on gold are the letters that spell out “NO MORE”
In v2 they didn’t spam unowns as much as far as I can tell

This song is so hype ,if i wasnt looking at the screen i wouldnt even think it was a horror song
(Erasing the static tv sound that apear once in a while)
when gold appears, the animation of gold appearing is 1 frame faster
Things I spotted:
-boyfriend’s and gold’s voices are clearer unlike version 1 that is more 8 bit rusty voice
-cutscene when start of song (it’s obvious)
-longer time to type for the unknown mechanic
-new words to type
-the song is longer (again it’s obvious)
-the screen is shaking a bit
-gold’s sprite looks a little smaller
-gold’s icon is smaller
-new charting
-the song has some tweaks
-their voices it slightly louder
-new sprites (gold’s transformation)
-new engine
-the jumscare is very slightly shorter
Aaaand thats all! The song was already fire🔥but they made it more awesome

the V1 chart was way more agressive with the Unknown text mechanic, Since there was no phase 2, But i felt that on phase 2 of v2 could have less "Jumpscare sync" to have more unknown text that would have made the song more tense, and the beats and drums would get to the persons mind and i did felt they could have used more the dead pokemon sounds

it seems to me that in V2 there are more details and effects and a small remix V1 it is clear that it is not finished, but in V1 there are more surprises V2 there are more details and a little bit there is a remix why change the music if it is so perfect..?
