I also didn’t notice this the first time I watched it, the little box at the bottom left tells you what to use in order to heal properly and in what order. Really sick especially for casual players
The mobile game isn’t pay to win, it’s pay to lose your real money to someone who didn’t spend real money. Can definitely clap guys with gucci gear with the most basic kit. Hope this is the same
This actually looks how I wish Tarkov would look. The med wheel, rolling bags up to save space, quick equip/buy in the menu, it all looks really good. So many simples things Tarkov could do to improve but somehow just haven’t. I hope this game turns out to be legit.
Tarkov is a hardcore shooter. It doesnt hold your hand. Thats what makes tarkov tarkov.

This is Tarkov for people who don't hate themselves
I have 9000 hours in tarkov. So I feel VERY comfortable speaking on this. This is a more casual tarkov like experience that will likely appeal (strongly) to causal and HARDCORE tarkov fans (like me). It has nearly every single QOL WE'VE EVER WANTED AND MORE. I've had more fun playing this game since yesterday, than I've had in the last year of tarkov.
You've had more fun because this is new and fresh. Tarkov is better imo

As an indie game designer and old Tarkov vet, small things I picked up on:
3:10 - The pockets are at the top, not between the backpack and the rig. This is a much more intuitive way to display the inventory since you'll always have pockets but won't necessarily always have a rig. It's a really small touch that shows they actually actively consider the user experience.
3:41 - stash organizer is in the base game which is nice, we waited many years for Tarkov to be able to do this- also, really intuitive little UI at the bottom with the big buttons you want to access most frequently: storage, gunsmith, contacts, market. Nice.
3:52 - look at the backpack shape; I cant be sure, but I *_hope_* ALL backpacks have weird shapes and layouts like this. Tarkov, as usual, comes so close to being great but consistently fuck up in the final meter of the race. Why you would ever use X backpack over Y backpack in Tarkov is almost always a very easy answer: it's bigger. In 99% of cases, and for 99% of Tarkov's run, you would always just take the bigger bag, meaning that midwipe, MBSS' etc just completely fall off a cliff i.t.o usability- you lose half your items that way. They sorta fixed this a bit with the weights and ergo penalties they introduced later, but that's clunky and just feels like shit. This way is much better and again, it shows that they thought about the little things - that's presuming most bags have unique layouts ofcourse. 9:54 - another backpack with unique layout. palpatine-good.gif
4:15 - I notice shortcuts "A" and "D" for Health and Equipment, I dont know if Tarkov ever introduced any keybindings for menu navigation, but more of this is great; games like these have tons of menus, introducing keybinds to ease navigation is important
4:33 - Look at the weather indicator, it looks like it shows you what weather you can expect throughout the time of your run- again, nice attention to detail to give us that info
5:01 - Vaulting looks a bit jagged, but at least it's there
6:05 - Right click to stop using, again, just tons of quality of life little attentions to detail here
This comment is going to get laughably huge so I'm just gonna leave it there, but suffice to say if the actual gunplay and gameplay is good, this game looks like it respects our time, I am super hyped.
Edit: regarding Team Mate indicators, I am massively in favour of this. You'd know from gait and posture in real life who you're with - I don't need to constantly ask everyone to wiggle, it ruins immersion. There are HUD features in games for a reason - this is perfect.
I do think the sound needs some work, it feels a liiiittle bit flat for somethings, like the reload at 10:34, the flat mag drop/insert. Ideally you want to hear some more of the straps/velcro to indicate the mag pouch etc, but still decent. Just a little flat.
The UI showing teammates is dumb. You should have to rely on good communication and call outs. Not having the UI rewards good squad play

here is some bad news backpacks with unique layouts are rare but are cheaper to use
Another QOL or casual friendly thing I didn't see get mentioned 7:31 damage direction indication. Pretty subtle especially in some circumstances like the first fire fight. But pretty cool to see.
@@divac7777 its a video game whereas in real life there are many nuances to quickly PID your teammates. In video games, especially games where you can wear the same gear as enemies, it's unnecessarily hard to try and PID in real time - especially in 1 life games where you get sent back to the menu and have to wait 15+minutes to play with your buddies again.
Extraction shooters are going to be the next genre to get over saturated

The genre isn't even mildly saturated. Competition is a good thing to improve the games you really like. Gray zone and this are the first two games to seriously try. Nothing battlefield or cod made even come close.

Seems like it takes out the tedious bullshit that tarkov thinks makes the game "hardcore" when it's really just lack of QoL
Games like gray zone and arean show that tarkov was milking its players to do the bare minimum for the most return and it finally blew up in their face.
Tencent has an another name “Level Infinite”, they uses different names go around stuffs. They use Level Infinite name mainly for publishing games. And now you know they they came up with the name “Infinite” in the end
Level infinite is actually one of the many game studios that work under tencent. One thing you need to know about tencent is that it is a greedy company that focuses on monetizing their product, so i can assure you that if arena breakout become successful,they will make it pay to win since every game they produce becomes that way.

But it doesn't have any p2w element after 4 seasons. And the Chinese server is in 8th season, it doesn't have any stupid cosmetic or p2w element. So your comment doesn't make any sense. People who love tarkov don't want ABI to succeed so they are making their own assumptions about it being p2w, full of cheaters, or having stupid cosmetics like cod. But none of that happened yet even after 8 seasons.

This game seems to find the balance of realism and being a video game better than Tarkov does. That being said I prefer hardcore realism but I will still definitely play this
The "quick equip" also gives recommended cheaper options too
For me the nametags is a 100% win. Ideally you had two modes like in old Battlefield (hardcore servers) one without and one with, but in Tarkov I oscillated between hurting/killing teammates by accident and not shooting enemies I saw first (which gets me and/or teammates killed) when it got hectic and that was a VERY frustrating experience. I know if I would play more and with the same people that would be less of a problem but for me it meant I would stop playing with other people...
Agreed, I think having the teammate indicators is better because it requires less shouting to friends in discord “IS THAT YOU” lol.

Agreed. As a solo looking for a team, having the nametags is huge. - As an alternative to satisfy the diehards, I think it would be pretty awesome to ia simple recognition system for identifying teammates. Have nametags fade away should you ever lose line-of-sight for >10 seconds, or if you're distanced too far apart. Then (based on distance/visual cover) have the nametags fade back in after a second or two.
This kinda splits the difference between COD and Tarkov. It rewards teams that stick together as a team, but also allows you a brief moment to capitalize on an enemy not paying attention.

As a long time AB player (joined on the final CBT for mobile) the game is fun. It's designed to be a slightly more casual, fast paced competitor to tarkov that allows newer players to onboard easily.
It has it's issues for sure, no wipes in the mobile version and easy access to high tier equipment saturated raids with very good players curbstomping lower geared players again and again. If they can sort out these problems before full release it's gonna be one hell of a game

Arena breakout infinite sounds a lot better when written with chinese and Japanese kanji. 3word names or longer names are more common there, like 3 syllable names are more common in america. I could be wrong but i wonder

Im pretty sure the game has "harder" modes for higher levels and those modes do not have name indicators and grenade icons etc.
Yes they do have harder modes
2 types
Lockdown and Forbidden Zone
Essentially the AI has better gear and smarter as well
Lockdowns applied to all maps
Forbidden Zone only applied on 2 maps only
Both have better loots as well
Thats not how it works, these maps just have higher gear value requirement to enter, and the bots are harder

It's very much a more casual game version of Tarkov. Player indicators, grenade indicators, downed state and being able to move. It's a good way to introduce looter shooter to new players imo. I personally prefer to not have player indicators and grenade indicators. Down state if they couldn't move, kinda like Gray zone would be ideal for me. But keen to introduce this to some of my friends who was too intimidated by Tarkov. Hope the gun play will be good.
Hopefully their money making en-devour is purely cosmetic.
Played Arena Breakout on Mobile, had a blast. Since like a year ago been WISHING it would come out on PC. It's a fun mobile game, an actual good free to play extraction shooter. Praying this lives up to the hype.
So you don't personally obtain weapons to keep ? You unlock a list of weapons to pick from like COD or do I have that wrong ?? Hopefully that isn't the case.

You can get the weapons if you found them on raid, buy them for market
Or grind, the grind is easy, if you level up once, there will be new weapons unlocked, iirc all weapons were unlocked at level 15 or 20ish

The recoil feels much smoother when youre actually playing. Its not as laser-ish as Tarkov though.
It looks kited, but the stock is really Bad, the handguard is also One of the worsts and if You put a muzzle instead of the supressor you'll notice the difference.

Im not trying to spend 10 minutes gearing up, just to get killed by a teammate/kill a teammate/hesitate to shoot because I can't PID and get killed by an enemy just to then have to wait another 20+minutes to get in a game as your buddies need to exfil and and debrief and regear and all taht

the audio is a bit funny but if they do a little tweak here and there this game looks pretty money. The recoil isn't that bad tbh if they make the gunplay around more controlled placed shots instead of spraying and praying.

I like the name tags and quest markers as the game is inherently a little more arcadey, has a little bit of a CoD feel too it. Couldn’t stop playin last night tho, had a great time. So many things Tark can learn as well from QoL in the UI. And like for instance the compass, you should get a compass like this one in Tark if you have a the compass equipped in one of your special slots, boom now it’s useful

Some things here are nice improvements on Tarkov, others however make it feel like CoD. I'm personally not a fan of med wheel, name tags, reviving teammates, nade indicators etc. Those make the game too arcade-like for me, so I'd stick to Tarkov if the game will be like that. But stuff like quick equip, estimated price and other QoL improvements are great.

You only get Knocked if someone shot your arm,hand,leg,abdomen. If the enemy shot your head, chest your instantly dead. Also the dogtag system helps us to be civilized. I guest pc dudes are bunch of savages who steal loot and goblin loot cuz U didn't know who killed the guy. The dogtag will tell you who kill him, what gun that kills him. It helps us identify who kill him you or someone else to we don't have problem stealing loot or goblin loot

How do i play this
Landmark really likes the game and thinks it's good. He said it's by miles and miles the best alternative to tarkov. Everytime someone asked on stream "how is it?" he'd say "good" "great" "It's amazing" or "it's lit". He wouldnt need to say anything else (and I'd imagine it'd be annoying to do so) unlike what he would say for greyzone or project l33t.
The only negative that would circulate is "$5 sub for secure container wow p2w" whicvh for every adult with a developed brain and a job means nothing, especially compared to $250 "dlc", $250 is a lot of months. The game is free to play so a $5 secure container or even $10 is fine by me and anyone with a job; especially if this is your main game. A battlepass, idk have to see on that one; if it's in game items I'll be extracting with your battlepass items.
i want to see the perspective of the guy with the Altin like dose the face Sheild distort vison and if the flash bangs worked or not pulse for how long they are even blind for is it cancer or is it even worth throwing also i would of liked them to be more creative with the actual sellable loot most of the items that u found in the game were different skins of items that u would find in Tarkov not that 1 or 2 things are even an issue but i would of liked them to be more creative with the loot and not just what do they have in the other extraction fps game

I played the beta, it definitly has more of an arcade feel compared to Tarkov. The atmosphere feels more relaxed and doesn't have that inpending sense of doom that Tarkovs atmosphere does so well. Weapon parts have generic names yet use a lot of the same models as in Tarkov. Loot doesn't feel as impactful as there is no hideout to upgrade.

This game is gonna be huge. This looks so clean, flexible game engine to make changes easily. Developers know what tarkov players want etc.
