Kids can be so cruel to each other. Bullying is a wicked and serious problem facing school-aged children around the country (and even some adults). Hannah Combs, 15, was talking with her friends outside of Harker Heights High School when a boy ran up behind her and poured superglue in her hair! The only punishment the boy received was an in-school suspension.

The school superintendent should be held accountable for not expelling the boy from school, and assault charges should be filed with the police. This cannot be tolerated.

Her parents didn’t fight hard enough for her. My mother would have had that school by the balls. A boy hit me so hard when I was in high school because I wanted to past his chair and he thought I got to close. My lip was split and I could barely stand up. I threw up. Instead of the teacher helping me he sent us to the principals office and I got suspended. I never touched him and didn’t antagonize the situation. When my mother saw me, first she went to the police station and had them take photos of me and found out that he had a violent history. Then she made an appointment with the principal. When she showed up she was dressed well, didn’t speak in a hostile manner, provided the pictures and the proof. She was told that the police should have never told her about his history. After an hour of talking and my mother suggesting that the school put students in harms way allowing this boy with a violent criminal history to be in the school and that not only were we gonna press assault charges, but perhaps the school didn’t want to deal with a law suit. Long story short I wasn’t suspended anymore and his ass was expelled. Parents have to hold these schools accountable for not doing enough. Instead of turning to social media they should have did more.

My elementary aged daughter once faced reprisals from two boys that had previously bullied her. They accused her of hitting them one day after school on the walk home, and the headmaster was pretty adamant about excluding my daughter. That is, until I pointed out that I had signed her out of school ten minutes prior to the end of the school day, on the date of the alleged occurrence, and had driven her to a dental appointment. The school records supported this. Turns out the boys had fabricated the entire thing as payback for them getting in trouble.
Initially the school was not interested in my version of events as the head of the school knew both parents of the boys socially, whereas I did not. Keeping ones cool is always a must! Happy to say that the boys left my kid alone after this happened. Kudos to your mother!
Livingboldlynfierce your mother is what parenting is all about. You have to stand up for your own kids because no one else will. That kid that put glue in her hair should of been arrested.

Something similar happened to my "special ed" daughter. I filed a police report, had police escorts my daughter home in their police car and pulled my daughter out of school. When the "upper staff" tried threatening me with truyency I told them to "brig it on" and we will all have a proper investigation. Faxed letter to the School Board, Principal, copy to police depth and a copy to The PACER Agency. You wouldn't believe the panic that was going on within the administration when I did that. Long run: kid git transferred to another school (had violent record), Principal was reprenabded, assistant Principal was FIRED and nobody ever touched my daughter again after all that. One important tidbit: accusing the administration of NEGLECT and depriving my child a safe environment to receive a STATE ordered education moved mountains with these politically correct namy pamby "A" holes!! Hope this story helps others...do NOT put up with it!!!

I was getting bullied so bad from this one guy. He was older than me and he was HUGE. Like a giant. I went home so many timess crying and my school didn't do anything. My dad took me to school one day, approached the kid and gave him so much shit. Fast forward a year, I was playing with a group of friends at recess, and they started to LITERALLY circle this girl and insult her. They looked like vultures circling their prey. They wanted me to bully the girl too. I told them I had to go to the washroom and instead found a teacher and dragged that teacher's ass over to those girl. I HATE bullies. I hate bullying. I have stopped so much bullying, even got into a fist fight trying to protect someone. This shit has to stop.

I hate stupid people! I knew they could be rude, but I didnt think they would act like that. And as a child, I did what I thought was best - get an adult to control the situation. Also, the fist fight only occurred because the guy came at me and my friend, I just put myself in between.

This happened to me in 9th grade. The boy put rubber cement in my hair. It was to the middle of my back, and it all got cut off to an inch. I survived trauma free and the boy is fine to this day. Man, things sure have changed. People are really bad at forgiveness and letting stuff go. If you seek out to ruin a bully's life after they bully you, doesn't that make you a bully too?

_They realize people respond with positivity towards themselves e.g laughter => they start to take it to the next level_ (most of the time it stops here)
_The bully takes it too far => the bullied commits suicide, gets pay back in the most humiliating and painful way possible, or in this case gets seriously hurt._
(If it even gets this far) => _Bully feels sorry and confused and doesn't know what to do, and loses all his friends and starts thinking of suicide as a result_

This is why bullied kids go ballistic, literally. Why didn't the girls parents call the police. All the kids have cell phones perhaps she should have called 911 to report an assault on school grounds. This should be part of her rights. If the police had been called the principal would have had some talking to do. After all, aren't they supposed to be responsible for the safety of our kids.

In this case the boy put superglue in the girls hair, according to basic rules and what to do against bullies you should have pressed charges and he should have been expelled. This is where the word stickler comes in. You are a stickler. If you think this one mistake by a kid is enough to ruin his life by expelling him, and pressing charges that will lead to juvenile hall, well then your a major stickler.(btw a stickler is somebody who follows the rules perfectly)(also nobody likes them very much😂)but yeah this kid made a mistake yeah the girl got hurt but there kids, should this girl press charges every time she gets hurt?! My great nephew gets bullied alot because he is little for his age and when he started to bully other kids because he was being bullied his mum dragged him to school and made his say sorry in front of his mates. Then she demanded that the boys that were bullying my great nephew punished. They got an after school detention but my nephew got a 2 day suspension, my niece(his mum) blew her top and took him to school on the first day of his suspension and rounded on the head master. She told him straigh my nephew was going to be in school both days because he had apologized to the kid he had bullied but the boys that had bullied my nephew had not. She gave the head master an ultimatum either he punished the bullies properly or my niece was calling the police in. The bulling stopped for a while but they now have a new head master and he is as much use as a tissue paper umbrella in a thunderstorm.

I was once bullied in grade school by a very popular girl. She was terribly insecure though even with her natural beauty, popularity, and stylish cloths. I was never one to fight so I took it for a very long time. I was raised to have tolerance. She didn't know it at the time, but my passive responses were not due to weakness; rather me keeping my cool. I hope bullies take a mental note of this for what happened next. One day she taunted me just one too many times making me a laughing joke of my entire class and kicked me in the butt. It was like some inner super hero took over. I turned and wailed on her in a blind rage. I had two teachers pull me off of her. She was crying on the floor drooling snot. Everyone knew she had it coming. She never, ever bothered me again. I look back a bit sad about it, but my situation was a result of no one helping me and protecting me from this mean girl.

Sadly it was. I still look back and think why didn't anyone help me. Why did I have to kick the crap out of her for anyone to notice. But if it helped you in some way I'm glad. I hope no one does that to you. I may have had my moment, but it didn't take away the scars of being bullied. Maybe a small part of me gets a laugh though. No one ever messed with me after that. :/ And I hope to never feel that rage ever again.

I've had to be homeschooled because I have been bullied all my life, I'm 12 now.. i Stand up for myself.. but sometimes I loose control and go mad.. police got involved when the bully assulted me, and said I assulted him, I was defending myself. NOT ONLY THAT, BUT HIS PARENTS WERE WATCHING!! AND THEY STILL DID NOTHING!! I went to 3 different schools to escape him but wherever I went the same thing happend. My only friend betraying me, people judging me badly, and everyone bullying me. It has effected me so much, I spend all day in my room. When I have to go out, I hide myself away from others... I have anger issues, anxiety issues and social anxiety.. I get anoyes very easily..

Bullying caused me to learn to box, which resulted in many bullies getting the tar beaten out of them over the years. Then I learned to throw kicks to head, which was even more satisfying and shocking to the bullies. There's nothing quite like seeing eyes go wide when you kick someone hard in the nugget. The ones that dont just get KO'd I mean.
This is the best example on why we have school shootings today! Bullying should be punished as a felony crime! And just a 1 day suspension is not enough! The idiot should banished from school....period! The parents should also be charged and given huge fines!

I have a kidney disease and a bully knew so he punched me in the nuts claiming they had nothing to do with my Kidnies , I had to go to a specialist doctor on the other side of the state because of it and had to have surgery. Rumors began to spread about me and bully who did ig didn't get into trouble, they took him aside and told him don't do it again , and it happened on school property under supervision.
The bully should be in jail for what he did is very dangerous ,she should file a law suit against him ...

It’s amazing how twisted and screwed up our school systems are. I have friends who have stood up for them selfs or had to use self defence and they still get the same punishment as the bully.

thank God my school days was peaceful. we had few naughty kids who would skip class, acting all high and mighty, talk big but they never bully or hurt us.. we still get along and play together..

The police were not involved because her parents didn't DEMAND that they do their job and file criminal charged for assault causing bodily harm. Not only that but I would have damn sure would have sued that boy along with his parents in small claims court for the medical bills the cost of that hair cut AND for pain and suffering? Many many times the parents fail their children too, by expecting the "authorities" to get involved and when they don't the PARENTS drop the ball. If that was my daughter I would have shown her how it's done. Starting with the both of us going to the police stating and getting criminal charges addressed first and then small claims court second, so as a adult she would know how to get things like this done.

1)contact bullys parents. tell them they WILL be paying full damages.2) tell the bully that he will be repaying her parents, his own parents,the school.3) take him to the local police office. let him spend say Saturday afternoon. in it. 4) Read a note from the parents aloud in class and in front of the bully. apologize for him,shame him,and yet even in the classroom know that they the parents will be easily reached by phone.

Require him to interview a few of the patients ( he needs to tell them what he did and what kind of burn he inflicted, and ask what they would like to say about it). And then to give a PSA to assembly after he’s done reporting all he learned about the dangers of chemical burns.
Let his parents worry about the hospital bills. Throwing money at the situation only teaches the kid to aspire to be rich enough to get away with anything. The kid needs to have his nose rubbed in the humanity of people who get burned. I doubt he would forget one second of the above.
Ok, revenge porn aside, here’s an idea- why not :
1. have the kid give up a few weekends to volunteer at a burn center
2. Have him give a public service announcement at school assembly about the dangers of chemical burns ( kids fooling around with peroxide dye can use this information)
3. Before or after the PSA, have the girl come forward to receive a formal public apology.
( this in addition to civil court awards, of course. )

Not only should that boy be in juvenile hall but his parents should absolutely be financially responsible for all medical expenses and punitive damages as well as pain and suffering. Bullying ends once real life starts and they all graduate. 1 day someone who use to get bullied will run into the old bully and the person will be asking for money and looking like a crack head. That's why I tell kids who are bullied "it will all end soon when you graduate, its not a all life thing"
