Oh wow just love the 301, so much so I’ve just ordered one, must be a Yorkshire thing Bob eh. My 317 got a ding in it yesterday after I was juggling with dog leads in one hand and car keys in the other and my pipe in mid air, nowt wrong with an odd ding here and there. Apparently I got the last one in stock of the old made ones before quality control slipped a tad with Petersons so I was told. Mind you I’d had my eye in it for a long time and it had been in my basket a few times too then changed my mind, mr indecisive eh😂 I’m sure that’ll look great after you’ve fettled it.
@@PiperX1X a up Jonathan, cheers pal it turned out quite nice after the clean up and filling and polishing, eh we’ve got matching pipes, bet yours looks posher than mine 😂😂, have a nice evening pal
Thanks for the tip on black super glue to build up a stem! I would do nothing to the pipe it self. Look the business to me as a nice old pipe. Little avocado oil and pow! It's done. You now have me looking at pipes. Spending my money again, you have.😂
I've got one of these. They take no skill at all to use, or even a knack. They just work so well, at least mine does. When they were invented so long ago they must have seemed like a major innovation.
Well done brother! I love bringing these old pipes back into use it's like a generational passing of the torch😊 and a pretty cool green table homage to brother brutal😉
Nice work bob, I’ve got a savinelli Lolita estate pipe coming this week, I’ve ordered me some supplies and looking forward to it 👍 I’ve got the Peterson 314 I think it is nice pipes
Very cool little pot !! I also use black super glue sometimes. Sand paper is like a gun. If you have it around you might use it so I don’t buy any 😂 This is really a pretty rare model. Very cool Bob !
The Briarlee seconds line to the Lees I collect had a Pete clone called the Goodfellow that looked very similar except it’s a full bend. They copied it down to the p-lip and a knockoff of the system moisture well. I have a few and like ‘em. That one’s rather nice.
Great pipe I like a little aesthetic character in pipes. It looks like they have been loved.
Thanks for sharing.
