I’ve owned mine for a month. 10 hours and about to change my break in oil. They’ve had some problems. If you own a Kawasaki 38.5Hp the fuel tank selectors are on the left and the hoses are chafing against the frame which could cause a leak and a fire. My front left wheel bearing wasn’t greased and accepted 20 pumps of grease. Bolts are coming loose. Hydro pump connections aren’t tight causing leaks. Hose clamps aren’t tight. Decks aren’t adjusted properly. Mine is amazing but Scag has quality issues that need to be resolved.
I wish they would develop a strut or shock for the platform instead of the spring. It's like a diving board and could almost bounce you onto the controls when going over rough terrain… other than that this machine is a complete monster I demoed one.
Love the machine…..one design flaw……. Get those rear wheels out further so it won’t scalp the ground in a slope or ditch situation……..I sold my machine that had that design with the wheels to close and the deck out too far on the sides. Chewed up a lot sand and left a gouge line in the middle of the two passes. That’s what I look for in a machine when I’m looking to buy ……is how far that rear wheel lines up with the outside of the deck…..closer the wheel better the cut. They like to think it “trims” better around trees but it is a minute scenario. That V-ride2 Advantage deck is the best deck I’ve ever used …… props on the design 😎👍👍

I have a scag vride 52 37hp, and it's a beast. I was a little upset that I didn't get the xl, but I still love mine.
