@Vanity0666 I didn't go to blizzcon just for the concert, i went for the keynote, panels, and demos, it does suck they didn't have enough seats to accommodate everyone who wanted to see the concert.
There were definitely people who paid $300 or even $800 just for this 30 minute kpop concert

I wouldn’t say I was a hater, just wasn’t my thing. This definitely helped open me up to the idea of maybe diving into to more Kpop. I’m more of a Jpop listener.

Many collab events including real artists tend to be too on the nose, like by simply putting them in their idol outfits on the game as a new gacha character, so I had my doubts. But this collab actually took the effort of making existing characters wear stylish outfits that convey the spirit and meaning behind their song "Perfect Night". An exemplary collab event overall. :)
7 songs with intense choreography in 30 minutes and they kept the energy up throughout the whole thing, these girls are amazing!

LE SSERAFIM is the most perfect grp I have ever seen , members are decent dancers, good vocals, they have a hyper and main vocalist Yunjin, lead vocalist Chaewon with her heavenly vocals, Kazuha as the elegant dancer, Eunchae with her bright and smooth moves and vocals and Sakura with her angelic and elegant visuals. THEY ARE SO STABLEEEE!!!!!!
The LE SSERAFIM game mode is so relatable because I couldn’t get tickets for their show because they were sold out so I heard it outside the arena
They were dancing, jumping, and still delivering. I've heard about this group, but I was not a Fan, until now. LE SSERAFIM ❤❤

It's all lip sync, you can't actually sing while doing choreo like that because of the pressure it puts on your diaphragm

Obviously not everyone does this and plenty of acts perform for real but no one is getting absolutely lossless audio while popping and locking because of how physics works.
I even took the time to look up whether or not Le Sserafim specifically got called out for it because of how egregious it is in this performance, and it turns out they are well known for poorly lip syncing constantly
they're so professional, what a high quality performance. Excellent stage presence, charisma, and live vocals plus choreo!! I'm even more of a fan now ❤

As a Fearnot I'm getting interested in Overwatch now, I'm a gamer but I'm usually bad at shooting games in general, I'm more of RPG games (especially addicted to the Souls saga since Demon's Souls) but I'd give it a try. That's why this kind of collabs are good for both parts, many Overwatch players are starting to listen to Le Sserafim and many Le Sserafim fans are starting to play Overwatch, just a win-win!

@@Yunjin___ you’re right the mic were on, my point is that there also was a pre-recorded backtrack loud enough to give the impression they were singing. That way the girls don’t have to sing every lines if they are tired, thanks to the backtrack people won’t notice they aren’t singing, and when they can or want to sing or shout people hear them and hypes everyone

It's nice to see K-pop getting the exposure it deserves in America. I really can't emphasize enough how wonderful this genre of music is and how little recognition they get compared to the amount of artistry it has. Involving not just vocals, but dance, rap, visuals, and stage presence. I remember when I had recommended in my TH-cam feed a girls generation MV. My life changed and I have been an avid k-pop fan ever since.
The setlist they ran with for the mini concert was solid. Going with "Flash Forward" as a resting song was a good choice. It has good energy & is an overall fun song. "Fire in the Belly" is always fun.

They working hard in this performance has very short break times.
I was lucky getting in the arena, I enjoyed part of the community night and when it finished some people were leaving so I went looking for a better place to watch the girls, I ended up sitting in a good place next to a father with his daughter, we talked about world of Warcraft and stuff, a memorable talk with a stranger, they leaved the place before the show ended. Honestly, blizzcon 2023 was an amazing experience to live. My first blizzcon with just 21 yo at the time, hope it’s not the last one ;)

Thank you for filming them in a watchable way. No insane abrupt camera crash zooms or sub second rotations like in the Korean music shows. This was perfectly watchable without giving headaches. I think the best coverage of a kpop performance in quite a long while 👍
