Everybody's like "I hate maheer" but like do you even get her perspective??? From childhood she had to be "perfect daughter" ,never ever asking more than necessity ...never sharing much of her feelings freely to her parents .....and most importantly not having a sibling like neelo or saad ....she accepted everything that came her way...and then it was areeb who came making her feel wanted .... making her feel loved ....but then she couldn't even marry him...yes it was her faith...yes saad loves her so does she loves areeb like that......I know it wasn't saad fault ...that he is an amazing and faithful person but what about maheer's feeling?? I'm sure that if saad would have confessed his feelings for her before areeb proposed her ..she would have been in a better place than now...she would have accepted his feelings......she tried to forgive areeb at multiple occasions...even she said "to mar jao na" and saying that to someone you love dearly is much more difficult than you think....being not able to accept the love that is given by your lover is more difficult knowing that they know abt your awareness of their love ....it is more difficult than just sacrificing ur love (talking abt saad here) knowing that the other person doesn't know abt ur feelings ...that maybe if they had known they would act differently....... whatever it is I think maheer is in dilemma of accepting her heart or thinking about everyone else knowing that they can turn their back anytime like Neelo did.....Neelo was even her cousin but said that she was characterless.....she broke her trust....again not having a sibling.....
