It’s like the second male lead in CLOY, really similar storyline and really tragic death. It’s so sad that after all that time they were so close to a happy ending and it didn’t happen, both siblings loved and were loved by a member of the royal family
everyone seemed to only consider the prince as the one who went through so much abuse and always looked over the princess. she was just as emotionally and mentally scarred by her own father as anyone he manipulated in that palace. she didn't have any say in the marriage, and was constantly treated as a disposable tool by both her father and the prince. and yet, she remained strong as she never let the people in the palace step all over her and even found love. her wishing for the prince's death is just her being human. she found love outside of the predicament of a loveless marriage and just like anybody, she would do everything it takes to protect the only happiness she has left. the prince didn't like her just as she didn't hold any feelings for him, so it's quite unfair to paint her as villainous when she's just flawed and jaded; just like any human there is.

I agree with you except the part where you justify her trying to kill her husband, that was just bad and wrong. He was cold to her like he was cold to everyone, but he didn’t harm her or abuse her. He didn’t deserve to lose his best friend, all the people he trusted, his memories and nearly his life all because she had an affair and was scared about the consequences of her actions. Just because she was trapped and abused by her father, doesn’t mean she wasn’t also selfish and thoughtless. It was really stupid of her to sleep with someone when she’d never even consummated her marriage.
At first, I had thought the character of the Crown Princess was like typical jealous second lead but I was so wrong. From the very beginning, she was trying to protect her child and her love. What she did to the Crown Prince was wrong but enduring so many years being manipulated by her own father, being in a forced marriage with no love, I don't think I can blame her anymore. She just wanted to be free from her father's influence and live with her Mu Yeon and their child. But in the end, she just ended up losing Mu Yeon. She was willing to sacrifice everything, its just breaks my heart how they couldn't be together afterall they had endured.
Still, she got freedom from her father and the palace and an unhappy marriage, and was able to raise her son in safety. It wasn’t such a bad ending for her even though losing him was so tragic. I feel bad for her brother though lol. He wasn’t actually a bad person but somehow ended up with the worst punishment being made into a slave.

I used to hate the crown Princess but when she saved him from the arrow, I thought that was really really sweet and I suspected them for being secretly in love. I have seen this series on Netflix several times over. Each time, other nuances came to life and the rendition of the role of assassin played by Kim Jaeyoung continues to impress me. I first met Kim Jaeyoung as the young, nerdy computer genius in The Blademan ; then In 100 days my prince. He grew up as a seasoned actor and a beautiful man to boot. Thank you. Looking forward to his future movies.

The Crowned Clown (or the original movie Masquerade) - not between a soldier and queen but “forbidden” in a sense; bittersweet ending Frozen Flower - this movie has very mature scenes and deals with morally questionable subjects. It is recommended only for the emotionally mature and liberally minded. Heart wrenching story between the Queen, King and his bodyguard. Queen Seondeok - very long epic historical drama series. It is very slow paced and the focus isn’t squarely on romance but politics. But the romance part brought me to tears
I need both of them to be a couple again in a modern drama with a happy ending.. I haven't finish watching this movie, only up till ep 10 now.. But i just know that she must've been pregnant with him
