As a G Omnath player, I saw more updates in this set than I've seen in the last couple. I'm slotting in Provisioner as a second Lotus Cobra, and Yavimaya is busted with Arbor Elf and Quirion Ranger.
Out of time is great in aminatou as it not only alleviates preasure off her but blinking it rephases everything it already had, plus any new bodies on field, also resetting the clock for vanishing.

I think Endurance might be the best of the incarnations. It's a thoracle and breach counter, and you can use it for loops in classical scepter thrasios style things
Something to note with Subtlety, it doesn't even always delay thoracle. If they have enough mana, they can put it on the bottom and consultation/pact for it and recast the same turn.
i think its so cool that red gets now this treasure ramp. first we got pirate's pillage and seize the spoils now these. i really hope that we get more cheap create treasure cards to have this weird ritual like ramp that stays after the turn if you didn't use it.
Great video love your guy's energy. But, a quick note on Gaea's Will, Green has always had this effect. Here are some cards: Noxious Revival, Regrowth, Eternal Witness, and one of the newest Bala Ged Recovery. I think it is an awesome card and thank you for your time.

Urza's Saga is also dece in Tymna decks, those karnstructs can attack and get through msot things if you have a few artifacts. Note you can tap it in response to trigger, to make a dude or to add a mana which means it can give you +3 colourless mana on the turn it dies (or +1 colourless and +1 coloured from a mox). So you don't really feel the effects of losing a land until 3 turn cycles later
The white removal spell Prismatic Ending exiles nonland permanents with cmc 1 for one mana. While it is a sorcery, it allows white to exile any nonland permanent type
You guys missed Krark and Sakashima for the Harmonious prodigy :P It's literally another Krark trigger doubler (or krarkharmonicon as we like to call it ;), and it's non-legendary so easy to copy.
@34:45 Glimpse of Tomorrow will be extremely useful with an Elsha deck, or Vadrok, where your dockside, or other cards like hullbreacher, can create tokens and you are more worried about permanents than spells. Also cards that you forgot about that make the suspend cards more practical are the Kaladesh (Aether Revolt to be specific) the cards that did an effect and then let you cast a card from your hand with less CMC.... every one of those lets you get these cascade spells at instant value incase you dead draw them and two of the revolt cards are very good value; Kari Zevs Expertise and yahenni Zevs expertise. The others cost a bit much and the yahennis isnt the best but kari zevs is VERY strong as stealing a creature like hullbreacher and then getting a trigger is a strong combo too, not sure if Cedh worthy though
Dress down can turn off your stax piece on your turn as well so that you can win through other means. Maybe it’ll help people playing stax win through their own pieces while slowing down opponents during the game? Just a thought
Cam: duuuh, I don't understand, why would you want to power down your deck? Well, Cam, if you stop reading the map upside-down, you'd realize they had the deck /before/ the card was printed, and the card streamlined and removed choices from their deck building by being the clearly superior choice. They don't want to play with "less powerful" cards, they want their success to be influenced by the choices they make, rather than how much WotC is fellating blue and/or green at the time. They want WotC to stop printing cards that allow anybody with a pulse to build a winning deck. When I play Najeela, I am well aware that when I win, only a fraction of the victory is mine. When I win with Vela the Nightclad, I am almost entirely responsible for my victory (I do run a handful of just obvious good cards like hullbreacher). Cards like Korvold and Chulane aren't seen as boring in casual because every casual player wants to power down their deck. They are seen as boring because the fact that they are such good draw engines in the command zone they are miles ahead of any other commander in those color combos espc in casual where games are slower. Because they are so much better than the other commanders they become all you see anytime you go to your local shop to get some commander in. And on top of that the decks most people make with them are almost always very similar so you just end up playing against the same exact decks all the time just owned by different people, which gets pretty boring. It really limits creativity.
It's also worth noting about Urza's saga, that you get to tap it for mana in response to the third trigger, and because it's during your main phase, you can tutor for sol ring/mana vault and immediately get 3 mana, or 4 mana, out of that one land that turn. So this card is kind of obscene for godo. Also Cameron said "converted mana cost", which is NOT what this card searches for. It searches for artifacts specifically with the cost of 0 or 1, meaning it cannot find suspend cards like lotus bloom that do not have a mana cost, or any X spells like chalice of the void.

They (a wotc employee) said it was unlikely that the cycle would be completed in a modern legal set due to flashfires and boil (which destroy all plains and all islands respectively) and valakut, the molten pinnacle (which is a land that can do 3 damage whenever a mountain is played). They do not want to make the ability to destroy all lands by playing a land that makes every land an island, and then playing boil, and they also do not want to power up valakut decks. So they won't be reprinted in modern, but could be reprinted elsewhere, which is why in the video they discuss them being reprinted in an edh set.
Damn I think will see play, since killing one thing is solid but against green decks its fantastic. Cabal Initiate (the discard outlet) will not see play in frog since its untutorable and their other discard outlets can already kill Tymna or are Chains of Mephistopheles which is an insane stax piece. Only Grief and maybe Endurance are playable from their cycle, Endurance as tutorable hate for Breach in Yisan specifically and Grief as another Thoughtsieze in mono black and other decks with a nice bit of card advantage. Voidwalker is fucking busted and will see some nice play in most Tymna gindy decks, especially in Opus Thief as a crazy replacement for Waste Not (though no one is playing it, it does similar things). It will see an extremely comfortable home in discard decks like Kroxa, since getting a free Naus as you said is nuts. Codie is gonna be actually good, which I'm psyched as shit for it. Glimpse of Tomorrow is hilarious, I doubt it will see play but I really want a deck to be able to use this. Ragavan looks super nutty, a lot of aggro Tymna decks like this, pretty much all Farm decks want it, and Korvold // Magda also love it. Scoundrel looks goddamn strong, might make Imperial Recruiter playable in Krarkashima. Sanctum Weaver might make some enchantress decks rise, (Mayyyybe we'll see the return of Estrid! Fingers crossed!) Korvold does not want the cost reducer. Grist is probably outshone by that new creature from Strixhaven that goes infinite with Exquisite Blood. Liquimetal Torque is gonna be delicious in Fullmetal Magda for their Clock of Omens backup wincon. Void Mirror is very gas, especially in creature stax decks like possibly Yasharn. Urza's Saga...Godo loves this, Top decks love this, Urza probably likes this, since it can grab Grafdiggers cage or a Mana Vault // Crypt. Its nice.

One thing thats important to remember about Out of Time is that it also phases out commanders. Since there is no spot to put a replacement effect to send your commander to the command zone it has to phase out until the enchantment leaves. Its essentially a mass oubliette with vanishing.
Chatterfang and pitiless plunderer go infinite to make infinite mana by themselves as long as you have at least one squirrel, and one creature that you can kill or sack with chatterfang's ability. For an example of how it works, let's just say you have one squirrel and a 1 toughness dork. You activate chatterfang for 1 black to start the combo and sack the squirrel to target the dork. Pitiless plunderer triggers, making you a treasure and a squirrel. The dork dies, and you make another treasure, and another squirrel. You then sack a treasure to activate chatterfang again, sacking the squirrel to target the second squirrel. You get two treasures back when they die, and two squirrels back to repeat the loop, generating 1 treasure each time. You can also use this to kill all creatures your opponent controls without hexproof/shroud/pro-green by just sacking both squirrels to chatterfang instead of one, and targetting an opponent's creature instead of the second squirrel.
With Chatterfang, you only need 1 squirrel and 1 black mana to go off! Pay a black, sacrifice 1 squirrel, gain a treasure, drain someone for 1, make a squirrel, sac the treasure for black, loop! If you've got 2 squirrels, you can make infinite mana and, by extension, infinite squirrels!
On the subject of diamond lion, it's not that important but you forgot to mention that LED only requires you to sac it, diamond lion has to tap in addition. It does not come often, but you could improvise or activate urza to tap the LED, then sac it anyway, which the lion cannot do.
I’m a Gitrog player. Cabal initiate is nice, but isn’t better than the green 2 mana creature discard outlets for the reasons you mentioned, and it isn’t better than oblivion crown because crown has flash and is needed to go off at instant speed if you don’t have a way to get emergence zone
The set looks dope, but ill just be buying singles this time around. I cant justify buying a box at $270 when I'll be able to buy all the singles I want for that much. Anyways, great podcast kings!
How do you guys feel about Thought Observer? It only goes into certain decks, but with the right board state its 1 mana draw 2 and get a flying body (in Jhoira its 1 mana draw 3 and a body). For artifact storm (mostly only jhoira now, since it more than cantrips, it reduces the risk of running into a dead-spot/chunk of land when trying to draw off each cast). Could be good but I might be really over estimating it. Thoughts?
That Harmonic Prodigy card is super busted. Turns out Krark is a wizard, Ken also went nuts over this card in the K/S discord. I've already tested with it and it slaps hard
I should finish the video before commenting lmao but also the closest (and inferior) parallel to Sythis is Tsuvas the Sunlit, and she never went anywhere (much to my sadness & disappointment) but she was 3 CMC (WUG) & only draws 1x extra a turn, so idk maybe enchantress has a chance in cEDH but I’m not gonna get my hopes up again
Wouldn't Chatterfang be good in Najeela? It's a squirrel warrior that doubles the tokens you get off of najeela. That seems like it could pressure life totals really fast.

The artifact dual lands and Urza's Saga don't trigger Jhoria because you are playing them, not casting them. Imo if any of the artifact dual lands are to see play, it would be the Boros one if Osgir ever becomes a cEDH level commander.
A big note: out of time hits commanders hard. It is phase out so they can do nothing about it, and can't put it in the command zone

I love the squirrel in non-competitive korvold, makes fodder, is a sac outlet, and is removal, and if you really need to you can pump korvold

You then sack a treasure to activate chatterfang again, sacking the squirrel to target the second squirrel. You get two treasures back when they die, and two squirrels back to repeat the loop, generating 1 treasure each time.
You can also use this to kill all creatures your opponent controls without hexproof/shroud/pro-green by just sacking both squirrels to chatterfang instead of one, and targetting an opponent's creature instead of the second squirrel.
Malcom Kedis is a casual deck I play that I swear is CEDH viable if you add in curiosity combos and glint horn buccaneer. Please try it out guys!
For diamond lion, Teshar might also want that card. Probably not as good as godo, but definitely worth noting.

With Chatterfang, you only need 1 squirrel and 1 black mana to go off! Pay a black, sacrifice 1 squirrel, gain a treasure, drain someone for 1, make a squirrel, sac the treasure for black, loop! If you've got 2 squirrels, you can make infinite mana and, by extension, infinite squirrels!
On the subject of diamond lion, it's not that important but you forgot to mention that LED only requires you to sac it, diamond lion has to tap in addition. It does not come often, but you could improvise or activate urza to tap the LED, then sac it anyway, which the lion cannot do.
Chatterfang is a Warrior so could be good in Najeela to double your tokens real quick. 😁

I’m a Gitrog player. Cabal initiate is nice, but isn’t better than the green 2 mana creature discard outlets for the reasons you mentioned, and it isn’t better than oblivion crown because crown has flash and is needed to go off at instant speed if you don’t have a way to get emergence zone
The set looks dope, but ill just be buying singles this time around. I cant justify buying a box at $270 when I'll be able to buy all the singles I want for that much. Anyways, great podcast kings!

How do you guys feel about Thought Observer? It only goes into certain decks, but with the right board state its 1 mana draw 2 and get a flying body (in Jhoira its 1 mana draw 3 and a body). For artifact storm (mostly only jhoira now, since it more than cantrips, it reduces the risk of running into a dead-spot/chunk of land when trying to draw off each cast). Could be good but I might be really over estimating it. Thoughts?

That Harmonic Prodigy card is super busted. Turns out Krark is a wizard, Ken also went nuts over this card in the K/S discord. I've already tested with it and it slaps hard

I should finish the video before commenting lmao but also the closest (and inferior) parallel to Sythis is Tsuvas the Sunlit, and she never went anywhere (much to my sadness & disappointment) but she was 3 CMC (WUG) & only draws 1x extra a turn, so idk maybe enchantress has a chance in cEDH but I’m not gonna get my hopes up again

I do not believe you are able to cast cards with suspend for free with Bolas’ Citadel. It would have to be done with cascade, right?

Wouldn't Chatterfang be good in Najeela? It's a squirrel warrior that doubles the tokens you get off of najeela. That seems like it could pressure life totals really fast.

The artifact dual lands and Urza's Saga don't trigger Jhoria because you are playing them, not casting them.
Imo if any of the artifact dual lands are to see play, it would be the Boros one if Osgir ever becomes a cEDH level commander.
Lose Focus might see a bit of play, just for being another Mana Leak. Slightly lower floor, but a higher ceiling too
