Hey, I have tried something similar. It does actually work pretty well. When my grandson goes with me, we cash out anytime we are more than $20 ahead and we put the profit in our "going home pocket". Then take our starting $100 and keep playing. Rinse and repeat. At the end of the night we count our going home pocket and usually end up with at least our bankroll back and sometimes a nice profit.
