First of all, I want to thank you for creating such amazing content. I can see a lot of unique and refreshing ideas in your videos. However, I noticed a common issue with the colors. The colors appear very vibrant and saturated, but the overall image feels a bit dark. This gives the scene a heavy feeling, and at times, it even looks somewhat "muddy." The details in the shadows are also not very clear. I’m not sure if this is the effect you were aiming for, or if perhaps your monitor might be displaying colors incorrectly? Thank you again for your hard work, and I look forward to seeing more of your wonderful creations in the future!
Thank you for always following my videos and it's helpful to have feedback! I do tend to calibrate my monitor very bright, maybe that has something to do with color balancing things to be too dark? I usually like to create high contrast visuals but I might be overdoing it a bit since I did get a new monitor recently. I'll have to test some settings out to see why I'm tuning shadows too low, I thought that the hands in particular were a bit hard to see in this one when I watched it again... Night scenes are a bit difficult like this but I'll do my best!
@@Nonorin-tan For example, in this video, the blue parts of Snow Miku 2021’s outfit appear almost black. By comparison, in this video (TH-cam: x6LfmooS_Bs by おんだむ / Ondam), which uses the same model, the dark blue of the outfit looks much more natural-even though the overall lighting is darker. The colors in that video also blend more smoothly and harmoniously with the entire scene. Of course, I understand that the lighting styles of the two videos are quite different. I think the color rendering in your videos "Love" by DECO*27 (using Sour Snow Miku 2022) and "Tale of the Deep Sea Lily" (using YYB), is more appealing. This is just my personal opinion, offered as a suggestion for your consideration.
I see, I think that makes sense! Those videos were rendered on my old monitor as well, which was a bit darker. I have bad vision so I usually turn my brightness and gamma very high but I'll try tuning the lighting and colors with different settings. I think it's also the MME material I used for the clothing, which was not as reflective as the usual cloth material
Can I reupload this video to Bilibili? I promise to credit you as the creator and ensure that it won't be used for any commercial purposes. By the way, I saw a MMD with the same song and snow miku 2021(but Sour style changed) on bilibili, what a coincidence!
