Hollywood has lost hand on making good art. Nobody wants to see heartless stuff. People want love and tenderness, and it’s not difficult to achieve. A good couple of actors who barely touch each other can warm our hearts, and Turkish TV knows exactly how to do it.
Yep. I can’t watch western romance, it’s so emotionless. I think that in Turkish shows - it’s like a dance, the guy leads beautifully like a salsa or waltz or tango and the woman shines. In western shows both the guy & woman are doing techno or disco - an obvious disconnect.
I feel like Korean and Turkish dramas are trending for this exact reason. Hollywood is cashing in on shock factors (first episode hook-ups, cheating), but fails to build relationships we care about. Romance lovers want to see how connections can help us heal, grow, and love. We want experiences that are relatable or inspiring, or love stories worth telling in a thousand years. Turkish drama's just add a bit of dramatization and humor to that recipe - and it's chef's kiss!

I agree with you. Call my manager or call my agent (in the UK) are a remake of a french TV show named dix pour cent ( ten per cent). Also series from Turkey, Korea or South America can provide fresh entertainment whereas Hollywood is often stuck to prequels or sequels just to lower the risks and by doin' so giving people crap.

Oh I love it, this video and this edit is really very good and very funny. Dicle is quite a character, his gestures, his faces, his expressions, it is so unique and special. And from Barış I like the delicacy, tenderness and sweetness with which he treats her.
